Update 4/21/2021- I changed my 2 star to a five star rating. I ordered online and picked up the food. I ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich no cheese, no Ostro sauce, no butter. I ordered the fries again. When I got there I saw they have a vegan sauce and la croix drinks. I bought a watermelon la croix and the vegan sauce. The portobello mushroom sandwich had kalamata olives, grilled green peppers, lettuce and tomato. I love mushrooms and kalamata olives. The green peppers added a nice grilled flavor. The lettuce and tomato added crunch and fresh flavors. I don't know why anyone would cover these flavors with cheese or that dairy sauce. The fries were good. Standard curly fries. The vegan sauce is basically a vegan tzatziki sauce. I dipped a few fries in it and saved the rest. It is really good and I may get the falafel sandwich next time and ask for the vegan sauce.
7 months ago- The hummus has yogurt in it. That is the first time I have ever seen that. So I didn't even order it. That should have been my first clue. I ordered the dolmas instead. They were small and covered in oil. Soaked in oil. I used the lemon wedge to clean some of the oil off. I have had better dolmas off the Kroger olive bar. I won't even compare them to other restaurants. The falafels were average. Again not restaurant quality. They tasted like the ones I make at home. I ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich no cheese. I saw on the order screen it clearly said no cheese. When it came out it had cheese and their sauce was some kind of dairy disaster. There was butter on the top of the bun. I don't understand how a mushroom sandwich soaked in a bunch of nasty dairy is Mediterranean. Mediterranean is clean and healthy eating. That sandwich went right in the trash. I ate the fries. Which were Kroger brand bagged curly fries. All of which explains why on a Friday at dinner time the place was...
Read moreJune 3 2024 1:00pm I had put up umbrella earlier and made sure the weight was pushed in (It was not prior) then I'm eating and watching a podcast on my phone. People come running out of the restaurant trying to catch the umbrella before it hit me. I was totally unaware. It fell on me and hit the back of my neck. Many people came and caught it and pushed it back up. Everyone asking if I'm okay? I'm like I think so. I think I'm okay it just hit the back of my neck. (I had put it up because the sun was in my face) As a couple people are putting it back on the ground and then I wound it back down, and a guy picked up the weight and put on top of it. Owner came out and said it was broken. I said it shouldn't be sitting out here if it's broken. After every one went in other than two sitting outside. He said it was His House! "You don't touch things in other people's house!" I told him I have come many times and umbrella was up. He continues angry " It's my house! I served you and you come into my house and do this!" I just said I won't be coming back to your house. He never once asked if I was okay. People were still coming by and asking me if I was okay that saw it. I was literally in shock physically and emotionally. This guy was beyond abusive and he's the owner! After sitting there for several minutes trying to eat I realized I had lost my appetite. I also realized I had to walk back through the restaurant because my car was parked out back. I did not want to see him ever again. As I walked out the back door there he was talking to another man. He literally grabbed my arm and said I'm so sorry ok? I just kept walking. I will never return to this restaurant ever again and I've been eating here once or twice a week. And he is the one who brought the salad and sat it in front of me. Literally he was standing right next to the...
Read moreAs a regular customer, I've visited your restaurant frequently during lunch breaks and for family dinners over the years. However, my most recent visit on September 24th left me deeply disappointed. I ordered a mahi-mahi meal, which cost nearly $27. To my surprise, they informed me that they didn't have enough of the fish and offered an alternative. Unfortunately, the fish I received was neither fresh nor worth the price, and the portion size was inadequate for such a high price point.
When my wife went to the counter to discuss the issue, we noticed that the owner observed the situation but didn’t take the initiative to check in or address our concerns. The staff we interacted with came across as somewhat rude, which added to our frustration. We were also shocked to learn that we were charged for a cup of water, especially after paying for an already expensive meal.
What was even more surprising was when a staff member mentioned that if we had ordered our food to-go, we would have received larger portions. This discrepancy between dine-in and takeout portions makes no sense and feels unjustified.
I don't like to make comparisons, but I've had better experiences at restaurants like Applebee's, where I can enjoy a fresh salmon meal for a lower price, with staff who genuinely care about customer satisfaction. After this experience, I don't feel inclined to bring my family back to your restaurant.
Thank you...
