Saturday mid morning I went with my son and his friend through the drive through. I always go to this McDonald's for my coffee. After ordering and paying the young lady at thr window gave me a small latte. I told her I paid and ordered a large, she said ok and had me pull ahead. 5 minutes later a employee comes out with a small iced coffee I told him that isn't what I ordered. I ordered a large sugar free latte, I showed him the receipt. He went inside and came back a few minutes later with the food and the same small iced coffee. As I told him that's wrong he said "I was told this is what you ordered this is what you get". At this point after 15 minutes and 3 wrong "lattee's" I went in. The man from the drive thru, a manager later telling me his name was Damien came to the counter. As I told him that this is wrong and they have given me the wrong order three times, the man yelled at me in front of the entire restaurant saying why would I want it hot if I ordered it cold and told me that was what I ordered. I told him not to raise his voice and to be quiet and listen. I told him if he looked at the receipt he would see a Frappe and then a large hot latte, and that I repeated it to the girl at the window and had the receipt. Damien continued to yell and walked away, a female manager came and remanded me the food. A few minutes later the man came back just stared at me with a furious look, did not apologize did not say anything. I asked his name to call the manager on Monday. I through out the drink after all of that in fear that he used a dirty utensil or would have spit in it. I go there almost everyday for the last 4 years for coffee, I have had so many good experiences and few bad experiences, however this was absolutely unacceptable. To be yelled at and infront of an entire restaurant for his mistake, and berated like a child I am absolutely appalled. I recommend not to go there on the weekend mornings, not if he's there I'd rather over pay some where else then have to encounter such rudeness from Damien. Some one needs to train him that customers ate not always right, but either way you need to be respectful and if you make a...
Read moreI went through the drive thru once and 1 of my fries was suppose to be without salt and the boy handed me 1 bag of food and I simply said which fry is the no salt and so he asked for the bag back and he literally put his hands into my bag pulled out the top small fry and pulled out 1 of the fries and put it close to his eye to look and see if there was salt on them. He did this all while standing at the window where I could see him! I was dumb founded and flabbergasted. And then he puts the fry bag with the fry he touched back into the bag of food and went to hand it to me and I said no sir u just touched my food with ur bare hands. And he did look extremely young maybe 16 or 17 but McDonald's has changed everything just in the last 5 to 6 years from the way they train employees to the quality and quantity of their food.. I know bc i was a manger for McDonald's I worked for McOpCo which was the corporation McDonald's back in 2006 to 2010 at the Calhoun location and the Carbondale location. I told the young boy no I wanted to speak to a manager. And he looked scared and nervous which he should have been. Bc it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know not to touch people's food with their bare hands. But some young girl who also looked 16 or 17 wearing glasses came to the window and asked what the problem was and I told her so she apologized and asked me to pull up and that she would bring out all fresh fries and the 1 without salt. So I pulled up and shortly later she brought out the food and again apologized and I said something to her and that's when she said my manager something so that's how I know she wasn't even the manager. So the manager that was running the shift didn't even have the decency to come apologized theirself they sent a teenager to do their job. What if I was irate then that manager just put their employee who looked like a minor in harms way. That is such a cowardly move. And this happened at the McDonald's off of the interstate at exit...
Read moreMy husband was craving his favorite the Big Mac so we got out of bed and came to this McDonalds…. We went thru the drive thru which this is around 10:30pm we sat in line for the longest!!!! But it was cool cause I know that sometimes people are short handed now a days…. Well we got two big Mac’s a 4b combo with a large sweet tea! Well when we got the food my husband checked and everything was there as we pulled off he said I’m going back to go inside I said why he said the fries are bad. So I was like okay. He went inside and asked if he could get fresh fries he said that they threw the ones he had in the trash and gave him some more from the warmer. He said there was the biggest pile of fries he ever seen just sitting in the warmer he got back to the car I said did they fix it he said not really. And I was like dang I said it will be alright hunny we just won’t eat them. Well he started eating his sandwich and I took a bite of mine and instantly said I can’t do it the chicken was old and burnt around the edges. I told him I’d be fine but I wasn’t gonna eat that. He went back inside got a refund for the 4b meal. But honestly they could of just said we can make it right and make y’all some fresh food. He said that the manager guy was kind of rude but the beautiful black woman who gave us the food came and apologized from the drive thru and refunded the money. There was about 10 cars in drive thru when we pull off I was praying for them all cause man I was hoping that there order didn’t end up like ours I’m done with Mc Donalds at this point.
