Rosi's Alfajores — Restaurant in Daly City

Rosi's Alfajores are hands down the best alfajores we've ever had. We've brought them to house parties and gifted them to friends, and without fail, they disappear within minutes--everyone grabs one, then goes back for seconds, thirds, or fourth! They're absolutely perfect for Asian palates--soft, buttery, and not too sweet!

Highly recommend the mini alfajores--especially dulce de leche and chocolate. They're handmade, bite-sized, addictive, and nicely packaged for gifting or just treating yourself.

The empanadas are great too! The new flavors--lomo saltado and ají de gallina--are packed with flavor and taste just like something you'd find in a cozy Peruvian kitchen. We're officially regulars now.

Amazing alfajores and empanadas. The alfajores were fresh, and perfectly sweet (not overly so). The empanadas were also quite delicious. The dough is soft and each of the fillings are tasty. We tried all 4 flavors and liked them each, though I particularly liked the chicken one. The hot sauce on the side is magic... flavorful, spicy and a bit nutty. The service was also amazing. The service was great at this small cramped, mostly take out place. There are a couple of tables outside, There is no parking available, and the neighborhood is a bit cramped in terms of parking. The redeeming quality is the food, which was fairly authentic, and the list of available dishes on the weekends was decent. We have only tried their empanadas, tamales, chicha morada, and turrón, which weren't great. However, were good enough to satisfy a craving for the ordered items.
