Service: 5/5 I did not dine in so I can't speak about that. However, when I called to place an order, the gentleman asked me if I knew where they were located. I thought it was an odd question until I realized he must've seen my area code and wanted to make sure I had called the right place. I thought it was funny and kind of him. Next, talk about speed. They had my order ready in exactly 20 minutes. Maybe even sooner. They also packed my food well. They could've crammed everything into one bag but they didn't. They split my order between two bags instead so I could carry it out easily.
Food: 4/5 The food was pretty good. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Salt & Pepper Pork rice plate, and Hot & Sour Soup. The chow fun had nice wok hei flavor and I liked the bean sprout to noodle ratio. Some might not like all the bean sprouts but I like my veggies and it gives the dish some texture. The pork rice plate was good but a little salty for me. The soup was good but different. It's not the traditional hot and sour soup. There's tomatoes and carrots in it but it tastes good still. And there is properly sour and spicy! Sometimes restaurants give you a watered down version. Not this restaurant! And to top it all off, the price is good at this place too. All their rice plates are a steal deal. If you're a hungry college student, a full plate of rice and lots of meat will cost about $10. Not bad in my opinion.
Parking: 2/5 This is the only bad part. Parking is terrible in this area. Especially at night. If you're just picking up, you can park right in front for a few minutes. But if you plan to dine in, be prepared to circle the blocks a few or 10 times. Also, for anyone not local, if you plan to pull into someone's driveway to turn around, be careful and pull in veeerry slow. The drive ways aren't great here and there are a lot of hills. You may scrap your front bumper and your car's underside if you go too fast.
Overall, definitely recomend! Affordable...
Read moreOn a rainy evening I was craving warm Chinese food. I decided to give this place a try and boy am I glad I did. I ordered the beef chow fun, beef with black fungus, hot and sour soup and Peking pork chops. The beef chow fun is perfect and not greasy like other places, the beef black fungus has far more veggies than your standard Chinese food place which is a huge plus. The Peking pork chop is cut up smaller than usual, and more sour than your standard fare, but still every bit as delicious! The only miss was the hot and sour soup: vegetarian, which is fine, but lacked depth. I had to add chicken stock powder, lime juice and Soy sauce to make it better, otherwise it was spicy, sour, but bland. This place hits the spot, and the prices are very fair. Cash only, but I paid with Venmo, and he also mentioned they accept zelle. I paid $60 total ($51.49 plus tip as I was a Togo) and I can see this meal feeding me and my boyfriend over the next two days ( I made rice at home, so these dishes will be at least 3 additional meals for us) so I consider this place a huge win. If you're nearby and want Chinese, this place should not...
Read moreThis is our 2nd time visiting and both times, the food was very hot and delicious! The portion sizes are acceptable for the price, definitely able to share with 2-3 ppl and/or have left orders if buying individual plates. All dishes came out hot & fresh and very quickly. I love Orange Chicken, but they donât have this item. As a very good substitute is the Lemon Chicken ($10), highly recommend, as itâs now my favorite dish there. The Beef w/ Broccoli ($11) was delicious, but very saucy. Steam Rice Large ($3); we had leftovers⌠great portion size. Beef Chow Mein ($9), highly recommend. Vegetarian Hot & Sour Soup ($9 or $10); husband loved it! Definitely had leftovers. Overall with taxes, spend $55 (not including tip) for 2 ppl & leftovers. The only negative is they only accept CASH, VENMO, or ZELLE. NO CREDIT CARDS. Parking is very limited. Customer Service is awesome! Very friendly! Weâll...
