I Love Bagels — Restaurant in Dana Point

As an ex-NYer finding a solid bagel shop in California was a priority for my family. I Heart Bagels has actually surpassed the best NY bagels we ever had while making us feel like part of the neighborhood with their family run vibes and impeccable memory for our orders and names.

Bagels are a simple recipe but it all comes down to the freshness of the ingredients and the care and attention that's put into their preparation.

This best practice extends to all areas of business for I Heart Bagels and is why they earn the status of the Best Bagels.

The store is run with great efficiency and even in the biggest rush hours times the lines seem to move the fastest. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, courteous but also conscientious of the dynamics of the line and their deft staff prioritize keeping it moving.

You immediately feel the vibes of familiarity from the simple and practical layout of the store to the quaint placards telling the history of the stores origins.

Again always done simply but effectively to create a great experience...

Coffee was good but service was awful! It seemed like it would hurt the 2 girls working there to crack a smile & upon walking in they just looked at me like "what do you want?" No "hi" or "good morning" or "how can I help you" nothing! Won't be coming back!

Update* The place was convenient & I did enjoy the coffee so I came back & the service was much better. I pay more attention to the ladies that were rude last time but I've gone a couple more times & luckily have gotten a different lady taking my order & she was very kind & welcoming!
