What a ridiculously fun and surprisingly happy mattress shopping experience! We’ve been stuck on a firm mattress that feels more like a medieval torture device for me (a side sleeper), while my other half insists he can sleep on anything—yet suddenly becomes a Michelin-star mattress critic when it’s time to actually buy one. After two weeks of 2 a.m. “research sessions” (picture us deliriously debating the merits of hybrids vs. hand-wrapped springs vs. memory foam like it was a Supreme Court case), we finally went to Mattress Firm at his suggestion.

I walked in already 67% convinced I was going to splurge on an Avocado and talk him into it… but then we met Mayra—the Mattress Whisperer. She sized up our sleep styles instantly and guided us through a perfectly curated lineup of mattresses, sprinkling in some top-secret intel along the way (like which beds are basically a one-way ticket to REM paradise and which ones are better suited for “marathon Netflix but not much actual sleeping”).

We ended up leaving with a Tempur-Pedic Luxe Adapt mattress paired with the Ergo ProSmart adjustable base—same week delivery! We cannot wait for our VIP-level sleep upgrade, and bonus points that we get to keep our bed frame.

This new store is very clean and well organized. My first time purchasing from Mattress Firm (Previously a Costco / Custom Comfort Mattress customer). We read the reviews and decided to make a visit. Nina was very helpful with making our purchase decision. She listened to our requirements and made recommendations based on her experience. This is not light decision considering the cost and time invested. My son and I both ended up purchasing new beds and could not be happier. Mattress shopping is never fun. Salespeople are either very pushy and just want to make their quota. I went into Mattress Firm (previously Pier One Imports) and met with Ray. Ray was very informative and showed me many options for mattresses. It was at least 20 years since we bought a mattress so there were so many options. We picked a mattress that suited our needs. It should be noted that there were problems with third-party delivery of the mattress. There was also a stitching error on the mattress. Ray took care of my needs.
