Boost Bowls — Restaurant in Danbury

Went in for an açaí bowl. Not only were each one we received seemingly a different size but there was no taste of açaí. It was all a blended banana. It didn’t not even have the purple look to it, but a gross brown. After taking 2 bites I asked the girl behind the counter for a refund as spending $15 for something I was not going to eat was out of the question. She told me she didn’t know how so she couldn’t. I asked her to call someone who knew how. She then called someone named Val. He requested to speak directly to me. He insisted that they only used enough banana to blend and that’s it. Then proceeded to tell me McDonald’s wouldn’t refund me if I wasn’t happy….i didn’t know he wanted to be in the same category as McDonald’s 🤷🏽. I was so excited to check out the new location, it was wonderful! The young women working was so polite and attentive, great service and my food was amazing, as always!! I know what it takes to build out a new store like this, and I was impressed by the attention to detail on maintaining the brand. I rarely write reviews but this time I feel like I have to say how INCREDIBLE this place is. I ordered a large green juice that was clean, crisp and delicious for $10.50 which is super reasonable... as well as a wrap that was packed with fresh veggies, a large wrap might I add and seriously was just made with love for $10!!!!
