Family Dollar — Local services in Danbury

On a recent visit I found the store to be in complete disarray and quite frankly a disaster. This was during the early morning hours (8:30am) so I found it odd that the store could be such a mess. Piles of merchandise in the aisles, clothing all over the floor, which by the way was absolutely filthy and most definitely has not been mopped in quite sometime. Items were literally strewn all over the place. I went down several aisles and each one was worse than the previous one. The worker named Jaylynn is highly unprofessional not only did she spend more than 10 minutes in the back with over 3 customers waiting she came back on her phone took her time to get to the register while “working” she is on a phone call with someone talking to them instead of giving the customer her attention while on the call she starts cursing out loud, it becomes our turn to pay and she gets the receipt and the change and throws it onto the corner and is in no way polite towards anyone. she made multiple people wait and treats us with an attitude all while being on her phone. I shop here because I work around the corner. A new manager came in a few months ago and has done a good job cleaning up the store and keeping stuff in stock, so the shopping experience is definitely better than what it used to be.
