It was an eclectic gem right outside Danbury. They offer both the usual burgers and fries to the more unique like the Turkey Reuben. We tried this unique selection and was pleasantly surprised. Instead of the sauerkraut they use coleslaw and warm the sandich like a panini. It was sweet from the slaw and salty from the turkey and melted cheese. We got it with fries which were good although a bit on the soggy side. They looked double fried but seemed like maybe they were made earlier and sitting out. I bet they were delicious fresh made. We also tried the Cuban sandwich. It was good as far as it had alot of pork, good pickles, and a big slice of tomato. It was only a little warm and the cheese was not melted. Also, we saw some mustard very lightly on spots of the bread but because of the amount of pork you did not taste the mustard. We also got fries with that and for some reason it came with a side of BBQ sauce. It was good but it's not a Cuban if you need BBQ. That's what the mustard is for. Overall the food was okay. I would go back to try other things. Based on food alone I would give it 3 stars. The fourth star is strickly because the vibe and ambiance is so cool. I loved the musician playing acoustic versions of classic songs. I loved all the unique and vintage decor. The waiter was friendly. So, overall good job. Just make sure your fries are to order so they are fresh and make sure your cheese is melted when you cut the sandwich in half. Basically serve hot food.

Food: Nachos - You know those nachos that are covered in cheese, and there's even a layer cheese sauce underneath the melted cheese layer, and it's paired with some delicious salsa, sour cream, and toppings?Yeah, these are NOT those. These were some of the driest, saddest nachos I've ever had. Please don't trust the other reviews stating they were good, they were trash. The salsa was diced up tomatoes with white onion. The chips were not salted. When ordering, I even asked the server if there was a way I could pay for extra cheese. He said 'absolutely.' If these were extra cheese nachos I'm concerned about the normal nachos. Attaching a pic of more than half my chips not having any cheese or toppings. Onion rings - I would say these are homemade, which is a plus. However, they're also inconsistent. We bit into an onion ring and our mouth filled with what felt like sand. Essentially the onion ring mustve caught extra breadcrumbs and made this pocket of dry breadcrumbs in the center of the onion ring. We cut into another, same thing. Server seemed nonchalant about it like it happens often. OK, cool. These, too, are unsalted. French Onion Soup - this is some of the darkest broth I've ever seen for this soup. It almost had this burnt or stale taste. Not burnt like melted cheese in the broiler, burnt like the broth stayed on the stovetop for too long. Maybe 3 onions in the entire crock. Disappointing. Atmosphere: A quirky collectors tavern. Dark inside but with cool features like stained glass windows, different floors for seating, church pews as booths. Not the most size-inclusive...im over 6 feet tall and could barely squeeze into one of the booths. Service: meh. Host seemed bothered by our arrival, threw down his phone. Another customer approached him and told him the bathroom was out of paper towels. He barely acknowledged her and without even looking her way just said 'OK' Overall: Seems customers are leaning into the nostalgia and overlooking some glaring opportunities. Have gone here maybe 5 times, likely won't return unless I have no other option.

This restaurant is so unique with it's vintage theme and decor. This is a family style restaurant with a kids menu and it's right accross the street from Thrillz&Jumpz which is where we were coming from. The host was very welcoming, freindly and was able to sit us right away which I wasn't expecting bevause we were a large party. They accommodated our party of 17 very well. They put us in the nook on the top level so we were all together and it worked out so well. Our server David was amazing and did so well on his own with such a large party. I will definitely be asking for him to be our server when we come back! The French onion soup is delicious. Their wings are crispy the way I like them. Baha fish tacos were huge and come with rice. Coconut shrimp were delicious. The brunch burger was interesting as it comes with a syrup type sauce on it. One person in our group didn't fancy the sauce while another did. But over all the food was great. My only regret is I didn't leave room for dessert. I didn't like that the bathrooms were located on the bottom level, below the entrance but or that the stalls were so tiny but they serve their purpose. I recommend eating at Rosy Tomorrow's if you're in the area. I will be back the next time I am in the area, thank you for a wonderful exsperience.

Date of visit: Saturday, oct 28th, 2023 As we drove to our hotel in Danbury, we passed Rosy Tomorrows and it caught our eye. When we got toboir hotel we googled restaurants for dinner and Rosy Tororrows was highly rated, and the description sounded really fun, and the menu looked good so we decided to check it out. The restaurant contains an eclectic mix of unique, offbeat and unusual decor items. This is a very unusual and interesting restaurant. We had a dog with us and they sat us on the patio (unseasonably warm weather) where we could bring the dog. We ordered Buffalo chicken calamari Blues steak stack Turkey cranberry burger Halloween menu - dracula diabolo pasta. The food was very tasty and well presented. As we ate, we watched other items being delivered to other tables and they all looked really good. Our server was very friendly and engaging. Prices were very reasonable witg average entree price about $17 There is a large parking lot which seems to fill up as this is a fairly busy restaurant. This is a fun place to eat with good food.

Not sure if we just came on an off day after reading all the reviews... Our chicken panini was surprisingly small and had maybe half of a chicken cutlet worth of chicken on it. I had to take some off of my half because the other half didn't even have enough to cover the bread. It tasted good at least, but not great proportions. I will say the onion rings were great! We also got the Thai salad, which was not great and had nothing Thai about it. The chicken was supposed to be cooked in a soy ginger sauce and have a peanut sauce on top. There was maybe a tablespoon of a really watery peanut sauce that had dropped down on the side of the salad. The chicken itself just tasted like charcoal. The salad was primarily just spring mix soaked in a sweet vinaigrette. The bathrooms were the worst part though - the women's bathroom smelled AWFUL (like mildew and sewage), and it was filthy - dust and hair all over the walls of the stall. The staff were really friendly, but I don't think we'll ever be back.

Rosy's is a landmark in the area w/a kitschy atmosphere that embodies the history of the town like no other local restaurant can. They are a destination in these parts simply on that premise alone having items from the towns founding (incl. the famed danbury fair) up to current times and even feature a working fortune telling machine. The food is eclectic and unexpected but executed fairly well. Most things come under seasoned which is something I have grown to appreciate getting older. I got the stuffed chicken donahue over fettuccine. The presentation was spot on as the plate looked great hitting the table... the chicken and pasta were cooked great w/the pasta maybe being a tad over. The Alfredo and stuffing were a mixed a bag...both had nice flavors but were lacking depth. Everything sort of had one note but the breading was crunchy n texture-wise satisfying. Service is decent and though it feels dated it's not in a bad way. Still a recommended spot when friends visit.
