Pronto Pizza in Dania Beach, FL, is a go-to spot for those seeking authentic, comforting pizza classics, with their calzone, antipasto salad, and pizza standing out as menu highlights.
Starting with the calzone, it’s a beautifully crafted, golden-brown delight. The dough is light, slightly chewy, and perfectly crisp on the outside, creating a wonderful contrast to the soft, cheesy filling inside. Packed with generous amounts of mozzarella, the calzone has a rich and creamy interior, with an optional choice of added meats like pepperoni or sausage that enhance the flavor. The side of marinara sauce is robust, tangy, and perfect for dipping, adding the right amount of acidity to balance the richness of the cheese.
The antipasto salad is a fresh and vibrant starter that captures the essence of Italian flavors. It’s a well-portioned mix of crisp lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and olives, topped with an assortment of Italian cold cuts like salami and ham, as well as provolone cheese. The addition of artichoke hearts and pepperoncini gives the salad a nice briny punch, while the house vinaigrette is zesty and ties everything together. This salad is refreshing, hearty, and a great palate cleanser to accompany the heavier main dishes.
Of course, Pronto Pizza’s pizza is the cornerstone of their menu. The crust is thin, crispy on the edges, and perfectly foldable in the center — true to the classic New York-style pizza tradition. The sauce is flavorful and lightly applied, letting the quality of the toppings and cheese shine. Whether you opt for a simple cheese pizza or a loaded pie with toppings like pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers, the balance between the sauce, cheese, and crust is spot on. Each bite delivers the perfect ratio of gooey cheese to the crisp, slightly charred dough, with the toppings evenly distributed for a consistent, flavorful experience.
Pronto Pizza excels at offering a casual yet delicious dining experience with its well-executed Italian staples. The calzone is a cheesy, satisfying indulgence, the antipasto salad is fresh and flavorful, and the pizza nails the classic New York-style vibe with its crisp crust and quality ingredients. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Pronto Pizza is a must-visit for anyone in Dania Beach craving Italian comfort...
Read moreThey have the best New York style pizza in south Florida. The review that got a 1 star because she had to wait 10 minutes as a walk in is obvious a person that doesn't understand a place when its busy. All you have to do is go to counter and say hi and then tell them you want to eat there. Pronto pizza is always busy and if you gotta wait 10 minutes extra its worth it because the quality of food is better which intern makes them busier. Not to mention they have there own delivery drivers plus grub hub, uber eats, door dash, and all the other delivery options plus the instore pick up orders. I've been there a 100 times and only at lunch have i seen more than 3 or more tables, lunch time they get people who eat in and i would think 70% of the business is delivery and pick up. By far pronto pizza is the best pizza, stromboli, calzones, chicken Parm and sandwiches. Yes the price is higher than most places but its worth it plus they always have specials and coupons. The pizza they make there is so good i think they actually get water from new York to.make it so good. I was in the restaurant industry and have asked multiple other places why is the pizza in New York so much better and the majority say it has something to do with the water and sauce. The crust and sauce is always the difference. I alsways recommend Pronto pizza to everyone looking for a better pizza than the big chains that we have everywhere and i have not had one person have a complaint about food or service i have actually had friends say that the service is better than most pizza places and they have never cared if there is a wait. For the person who rated 1 star it is not right to give that type of rating if you just walked in and not to mention you even said the food was good. If the service was horrible and the food was excellent thats 3 stars, when you review a company its in all categories your rating. 1service, 2 Food Quality, 3. was Food hot and made right, 4 cleanliness, 5 overall pricing menu and observations. They are my #1 pizza place after this...
Read moreIts a Shame I even have to type this because my family and I frequent this place at least once a week. A few days ago I ordered a pizza. Not only did I have to wait 1hr20mins for it to arrive, but the pizza was wrong, and the two slices I ordered for myself (separate from the pizza I got my kids) was soggy. I wasn't concerned about my pizza I was more concerned about my kids pizza. Having waited almost an hr and a half for a pizza (that was also cold when it arrived- probably because the girl at the phone when I called to ask where my food was, informed Me he took all the deliveries out, which leads me to believe he was delivering multiple orders) I gave my son two slices of the pizza but my daughter couldn't eat because she can't have pepperoni. I called to ask for a replacement pizza and was (at first) offered a 25% discount on my next order.. so I said I can't take that because right now my daughter has no dinner. I was informed the manager said that's the best he can do. I asked to speak to him. He came to the phone sounding aggravated. I repeated my story he cuts me off and tells me that's all he can do. Then proceeds to call me a liar bc he knows he made my pizza right. When I asked him why he was calling me a liar, he said he wasn't.. but clearly he was. He eventually offered me another pie but told me I had to wait 45mins.. I couldn't believe I was expected to wait a total of 2hrs for a pizza when I literally live 10mins away. I was given major attitude and I got there to get my pizza literally 10mins later and I was informed the manager left for the day.. I'm sad that I have to find a new...
