Although I didn't discover Quickies until a few months ago, this local snacking spot has left an unforgettable mark on my taste buds with its extraordinary Mahi sandwich and crispy fried pickles.
The Mahi sandwich is a symphony of flavors that will tantalize your senses. The succulent Mahi fillet is grilled to perfection, resulting in a tender and flaky texture. The fish is generously topped with crisp lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. The fish and toppings are loaded into a soft, buttery hoagie roll that perfectly envelops the entire ensemble, providing superbly serious satisfaction with every bite.
The fried pickles are an equally impressive side dish. These spears of dill pickles are coated in a light, crispy batter and fried to a golden brown. The result is a delightful crunch that perfectly complements the tangy pickle flavor. I love dipping mine in cold Heinz Ketchup, personally. What a terrific tango of tastes!
What truly sets Quickies apart is its affordability. The Mahi sandwich and fried pickles combo is priced at an incredibly reasonable amount, making it an excellent value for the quality of food you receive. The generous portions ensure that you'll leave satisfied and without breaking the bank.
Ambiance and Service
While Quickies may not boast a fancy dining room, the friendly and efficient service makes up for it. The staff is always welcoming and happy to assist with any requests. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and pleasant dining experience.
Conclusion
Quickies is a fast food gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional Mahi sandwich and fried pickles. The culinary artistry, affordability, and friendly service make it a must-visit destination for foodies and budget-conscious diners alike. Whether you're craving a satisfying meal or a quick and delicious snack, Quickies is the perfect place to indulge...
Read moreOrdered in the drive thru two burgers, chicken wings, and a few other items. They said I got my whole order and since there was also a long line in back of me I didn’t feel it was necessary to check. I got home after a 20 minute drive only to see that the two burgers were completely missing from my order. I called them and told them the situation and they told me that they forgot to place the burgers in the bag and I can come pick them up. After explaining how it’s a 20 minute drive to them and it would be a whole hour before we’d eat with all the back and forth driving, I asked them if they can make our food again when we arrived so that our food won’t be cold and inedible. They said yes no problem and to come. When we got there they took back the bag with the other items we did receive and just refried the fries and the wings to get them “hot”. They were all drenched in oil and they even gave us the burgers that have been sitting there for 40 minutes which were all cold and soggy. When we told them that they said over the phone they’ll make everything fresh for us with no problem because of their mistake the guy was extremely rude and just wanted to give us money back so we can get out of his face. Completely ruined our evening and left us having to find another place to find dinner all after wasting over an hour driving back and forth. Extremely unprofessional and not the right way to...
Read moreI thought Quickies have done me well but that is not the case. My experience last time I ordered a large conch but I received 1/4 of conch. I quickly stopped by and they changed my order which i was pleased. This time around 10pm through 11pm wasn't that bright for me. I called and ordered 1/4 of conch and lemon cake. I picked up my order went to my designated place and ate my conch and fries. It was time for my desert which I started to eat then I notice there were mold in my lemon cake which I started to vomit 🤢 out. I was in shock that they would serve me a cake with mold. That just goes to tell you they do not check their food. Online it states that they close at 1am. My significant other and I decided to rush out there before they close So I can get a refund. I called but noone did not answer. We arrived at 12:27 before 1 am but they said they were closed. When I tried to explain myself they acted as if they did not understand me and kept saying close close. I just wanted a refund and I wanted to show them what they gave me. I will never eat from here ever again. To everyone else out there keep your hard earning money because if they cannot do right by their food they definitely won't do right by you either....
