As a long time customer of panera (in general) my recent trip was a huge dissapointment.Ordered a green passion smoothie it had ice chunks, the associate did not ask me for a size preference. Ordered a you pick 2 with the bistro french onion soup and tmozz flat bread. Asked for no cheese in the soup because i sometimes share it with my spouse who is lactose intolerant. Found the cheese at the bottom of the cup in a distgusting mess. My flat bread was put together diagonally creating a heart shape i didnt "love" most of my cheese fell out of my sandwich. I watched as the woman just dropped the pesto and sofrito onto the sandwhich in a mass instead of properly spreading it. And to top it off i wasnt given side options so i was rang up for a baguette....which without asking i was given an asigo cheese loaf chunk. Im guessing they were out of baguettes but communication with the customer is key. If they had asked i can promise you even if i wanted bread i would have asked for anything but. Bonus? Our only problem was the lady "cleaning the tables didn't actually clean ANY of the surrounding tables. She was a short woman maybe in 40-50' years of age. Maybe hispanic or Mexican decent. (She had some of the features of my ancestors, that's why I said that) no disrespect intended! But she o ly pushed one chair in that was pulled out before we got there and in our 45 minute stay, 2 single people sat at a dirty table in one corner that hadn't been cleaned by the time each one had sat there, and a couple girls sitting across from each other had chosen another table that hadn't been cleaned before THEY sat, and an elderly woman had chosen to sit at the last table that ALSO hadn't been cleaned after the previous people left, just the chairs fixed. I don't think the other associates are aware of this, and we didn't actually get a chance to tell anyone this that's why I still have 5 stars.but I do hope they know the lady by my description. It was around 3pm. She only grabbed a spray bottle she never used in our section by the mall...
Read moreHorrible customer service I was told to pick up my Uber eats at the pick up section. It is on the Uber Eats app and when I asked an employee if I’m supposed to pick it up there I got a head nod. I waited 10 minutes to pick up my order and finally went to the front and saw my order there. Uber and DoorDash pick ups are all different and we rely on the app to give directions on where to pick up these orders, if the instructions are incorrect we are left to ask the employees and if the employees are incorrect, this delays our pick up process so it is very important to put a sign there or put your directions correctly on the app on where to pick up these orders. If you’d like to provide your customers with hot delicious food, then putting a sign where their orders can be picked up is completely necessary especially for gig workers.
