3/7/24 - EDIT - Updated from 1 star to 3 star. Management reached out to me and was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. They rectified the situation and I am very thankful for that. ..... Last night was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in my life. My husband and I are joining others for dinner and we seat ourselves around 6:40pm. No one visits our table to check in, take drink orders, nothing for at least 20 minutes. Our waitress either seemed brand new or like she absolutely did not care about her job. After a 20 minute wait for drinks, we waited another 10-15 minutes for her to come back and take our order. She revisited the table TWICE to ask others about what they ordered. Drinks that were ordered from the bar were made and literally sat on the bar counter for at least 10+ minutes before our waitress was reminded to get them.. if we didn't ask for them I don't know when she would have remembered. No refills were provided during our entire meal, she never even offered. Drinks cost $3.39!! Another issue we had, when our food finally arrived to the table we were still without any silverware. When our waitress brought the food we asked for some. 5 minutes pass, then 10, then 15, and finally my husband got up and went to ask for silverware.. he was told it was being rolled and someone would bring some. Ridiculous! We literally need it unrolled to eat our meals that are now cold. Anyway.... After about a 20 minute wait we are brought freshly rolled up silverware. The food was exactly as expected for Applebee's, edible but not great and in no way, shape, or form worth the prices they charge. $17 for tiny tenders on microwaved penne Mac n Cheese, and $14 for a chicken salad.. oh, they also forgot things! My husband's dish was missing the bacon and my salad was not served with the bread stick on the side. At this point we just wanted to leave as soon as we could. Bacon and a bread stick would absolutely not make up for our waitresses awful service. I even overheard someone (maybe the manager) apologize to the table behind us so I don't think it was just our table experiencing a bad night. It was past 8:30 when we got out bill and were paying.. surprisingly our waitress was super attentive when the checks came out and she actually got them processed in a matter of minutes. When she returned with the receipts to sign she stayed by the table and waited for us to sign and hand them back. It was definitely awkward at that point but I absolutely left a low, low tip because that is all she deserved. Thinking back now, she probably didn't even deserve that to be honest. She made it a point to wait for signed receipts and then looked them over to check out the tip section. Absolutely appalling behavior. We finally leave just before 9pm and we will NEVER go back. The biggest thing that stands out to me?.. not once did our waitress apologize for the waits, or for forgetting anything, nothing. No sincerity and no care about the service she...
Read moreI have never had such a horrible dinning experience in my life! Evian or Evion who seems to have absolutely no training or people skills unfortunately was our waitress. Upon arriving we asked for drink specials which she replied none. Moving forward we ordered our meals and eagerly awaited. A short while later, Elliot (mutual friend) came to our table and asked how we were and did we take the opportunity to look at their drink specials, which they DID in fact have. We let him know the waitress stated there were none and he apologized and informed us of them and that our waitress had no restaurant experience. Again moving forward, an hour later our appetizers (3) have not arrived for a party of 6 and one child. Trying to get the waitresses attention to cancel our appetizers she never came back to the table to check on us or much less give us refills. Once our food did arrive with our appetizers another 30 minutes later (1.5 hours since ordering) we cancelled an appetizer and had to send back one entree with the wrong side, another entree because it had been served with onions in the meat when specifically asked for none and thinking this might have been the cooks error. To not much surprise “Evian” jerked up our plates and stated “no one here can tell me what they want” with an attitude and walked off with another female server who was apologetic for her behavior. Hoping she was new and frusted with the chef, we put it passed us. Upon arrival of our new entrees the apologetic waitress (unfortunately did not get her name) informed us that she would be taking over our table with Elliot because “Evian” put us off, how unprofessional. Moving forward, this time our burger entree did not have onions in the meat but had onions ON the burger. already done with this whole experience, we told them to cancel the burger entree from our order and handed it back. The waitress apologized and said she didn’t understand what was going on and would take care of it for us. After we were done eating a male waiter (no name) came up with a to-go container of the cancelled burger entree on the house for our troubles. We hesitantly took the order but accepted. Before leaving we inspected the order to which yet again had onions IN the meat again... Never once did the manager (female) come and speak with us about our experience, whom sat the table next to the bar with her chin rested on her palm as if she could have even cared. I don’t know what’s going on with this establishment but it for sure will be going down hill quickly and if there are hopes to have this turned around i would consider making Elliot the manager, whom even made this experience...
Read moreWe had three adults and one child and was seated pretty quickly. It took our waitress 30 mins to greet us with “I’ll be with you guys in a min” as soon as we were considering leaving. After seeing her greet and take orders for other tables seated after us we became more uncomfortable. She continues to check in on other tables get refills etc and finally gets to us after about 15 more mins. She says we can go ahead we our drinks and if we’re ready we could order our food as well. We order two mix drinks and soda plus our food. We see our drinks from the bar get taken to another table but of course it was possible they had ordered the same drink… I mean if they didn’t I believe they would’ve said so when the drinks arrived. We go another 20 mins without drinks and over an hour without our food when she finally arrives at our table with our food. We then ask her about our drinks and she goes to check in at the bar. There we hear the bartender say she already made our drinks and what does she want her to do about it. Our waitress explains that she has to make another one because she doesn’t see the glasses on our table. Probably shouldn’t have an attitude and assume we’re lying about our drinks, 100% should try to problem solve the situation at her job but none the less a man spoke up and let everyone know he served the wrong table our drinks. After that we asked for some ketchup and asked for a refill and of course as we see every other table get waited on we never received either before asking for the bill. We got our bill left our money for the $80 bill and dipped. We didn’t want to wait another 30 mins for her to pick up the card and swipe it. I’m not sure what made all the other tables a priority over us but we remained respectful this entire ordeal. She cost herself a tip tonight because we had to use all of our cash instead of our card. She also lost a big tip because of how she made us feel, we always tip a certain % because we know this is peoples livelihood. Hopefully this isn’t a experience all her customers receive.
