Usually have a good experience at Olive Garden in Danville. Last time my 6 year old and I visited I decided it was for the last time! She ordered the kids mac and cheese entree with a side of broccoli and french fries. It should have been a french fry entree with a side of broccoli and mac and cheese. 75% of her plate was fries and the 4 large pieces of broccoli was barely cooked. Luckily, she took some ranch and just dipped the broccoli. The ONE SPOONFUL of mac and cheese shells she didn't even like because it was not cheesy! So, she ended up filling up on the broccoli and breadsticks. The waitress had a snotty attitude. She seemed offended when I declined the complimentary glass of wine, she rolled her eyes while walking away from my table several times, she walked by and dropped the breadsticks on the table and did the same thing with the to-go boxes. Just minutes after getting our food she was telling me that she'll grab some boxes. I felt like she was rushing us out. I told her we weren't ready for boxes-we literally just got our food, my daughter was still waiting on her ranch so she could eat the broccoli, and we were planning on getting dessert, but a moment later she dropped the boxes on the table AND a couple minutes after that brought me the check. I left after having only 3 bites of my entree! I am so disappointed in this restaurant and plan on never returning! I should demand my money back. I was a waitress for several years so I understand if she was having a bad day-she still has to ACT like she wants to be there and treat the customers with respect. I did not get those from...
Read moreMy granddaughter and I drove an hour to your Danville Olive Garden. We were seated and no one took our drink order. After 5 minutes another waitress came by twice she stopped and ask has anyone taken our drink order. I said no! She took our drink order and returned with them. We waited another 10 minutes, finally our waitress showed up and took our food order. My granddaughter ordered the cheese ravioli with salad. I ordered the tour of Italy and soup. Another 5-10 minutes went by we she got her salad and ravioli and I got my bowl of soup.my granddaughter had ate all her salad and ravioli and I ate my bowl of soup. The waitress ask if I wanted another bowl of soup and said no I want my meal tour of Italy. We waited 10 minutes I flagged her down and said put my tour of Italy in a go tray because we had been there too long just waiting. She brought my food out in a go tray ask if I wanted cheese I said yes and we wanted two Dr. Peppers to go, I never even got bread stick for my order. I opened my go tray but she never came back. I closed my tray paid my bill at the table and left I only gave her a $2 tip because of her poor service. On October 5th my daughter and granddaughter ate the there , food and server was excellent. But today it was upsetting and disrespectful. To prove my word is true here are...
Read moreMy son and I came in for dinner this evening. We had a new waitress that was very nice but definitely was still learning. When she brought our food out the portion of our sides was very small. Then there was an extra charge on our bill for a side that shouldn't have been added. We frequently choose to eat at Olive Garden because it's one of our favorites. We totally understand they were busy and that our server had just started a few days ago. We did ask to speak to a manager to have the extra side taken from the bill. A manager named Ethan came to our table. We had never met him before. Ethan wowed my son and I with his patience and noticeably awesome personality. He was very eager to make everything right and make sure we left happy. I feel as if many places we go to eat the employees and management act is if they just don't care. Customer service in my opinion is really lacking in many restaurants since covid. Not here. I am thankful for managers like Ethan that renews my faith in people that really care about not only their positions but their customers as well. I also have to mention that we get Emily and Bill most of the time when we eat at OG and they both are AMAZING and we appreciate them so very much as well! Thank you OG! Ya'll know how to make your customers feel like we matter....
