This place is such a gem! First, let's get the easy stuff out of the way: the people are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. If you are unfamiliar with any of the items they carry, or cannot find things you want, they will go above and beyond to explain or point out what may be lacking (especially from my non-Persian background).

You will find treasures here that are either entirely missing in other stores, or prohibitively expensive -- the prices for their spices alone is reason enough to at least come and visit. Want a quick and exotic dinner? You'll find wonderfully-prepared foods (such as kabob and baba ganoush), as well as delicious desserts such as halvah and baklava. This location has had many incarnations, but the present owners have done it proud -- we stop by every time we visit...

If I could leave zero stars I would. First the owner Morad is very rude and has 0 idea about customer service. A lot of their items do not have a price on it so that he can charge you whatever he wants. And some other items have the incorrect price and he always gives you a higher price. ALL of his items are way more expensive than any other similar market. If you ask him to clarify the discrepancy in his pricing he gets mad. Never going back here again when there are so many other...

I’m sorry to have to post this review, but it’s only fair to warn people not to waste their money on purchasing any meals there. I’m not referring to the grocery items, but the food they serve. We just threw all our food out. Couldn’t risk getting sick. I hope they will stop serving, OR pay attention to the quality. We were loyal customers for years, but the food continues getting worse. We won’t be coming back...
