This place is such a gem! First, let's get the easy stuff out of the way: the people are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. If you are unfamiliar with any of the items they carry, or cannot find things you want, they will go above and beyond to explain or point out what may be lacking (especially from my non-Persian background).
You will find treasures here that are either entirely missing in other stores, or prohibitively expensive -- the prices for their spices alone is reason enough to at least come and visit. Want a quick and exotic dinner? You'll find wonderfully-prepared foods (such as kabob and baba ganoush), as well as delicious desserts such as halvah and baklava.
