Sushi Yokohama — Restaurant in Danville

Was seated quickly enough. But took forever for the one lady to come even ask us what we wanted to drink. Then, she brought out some of the food (the bento box) yet still had not brought us water. I had to remind her. The food was good enough, but the sushi roll was enormous! That might just sound like value for your dollar, but there is absolutely such a thing as a sushi roll too large. The one I had, the Mt. Diablo, was just packed with extra imitation crab to get it to its ridiculous size. It was way to hard to eat, and it disintegrated into a pile after the first bite.

I like the food at this place. The sushi is excellent. The wait staff really needs to learn how to do their job. I sat there with a pile of dirty dishes on our table while the waiters walked by us at least six times with their hands empty going back to the kitchen. We sat and had dessert with all of the dirty dishes still piled on our table. Absolute inefficiency by the wait staff. Don't go here if you're looking for a fancy restaurant for a Big date but if you're just interested in some really good sushi give it a shot and it's usually not very crowded because it's a little off the beaten path of where the other...

Yes!!! This is a place to definitely try, they have Great sushi. We walked in without a reservation and they were very accommodating and friendly and sat us immediately. My husband is not as picky as I am. I am sensitive to cleanliness and this place is very clean. I also like to see pictures of the food to see if it looks good to me and on the menu you can look at the rolls. We also came here to celebrate a friends birthday on another occasion, they were Wonderful and came out with a dessert 🍨 and did fun celebrating with us. Excellent...
