O'Taste And See — Restaurant in Danville

I'm giving one star because I went to this shop on a friday and asked for 24 cupcakes for my daughters disco themed birthday party. The lady in front went to talk to the "designer" and when she came back, she said they need to come up with ideas and would call me back on Monday. Monday came , no call. I called them on Tuesday and asked how it was going. She didn't remember my order at first.. and then said they could not come up with any design for a simple disco themed party. She said all she could do is get cake sticks..... they can make watermelon designed cupcakes, an anchor out of cupcakes.. but they cant put the cupcakes in a circle and spray paint them silver...or SOME kind of disco...

It's not in the best location, the cupcakes are very good and they're pretty, there wasn't much in the cases, and before even saying hello we got masks shoved at us, I get being cautious, but I also am big on courteous manners from shops I choose to spend my money at. They have signs that photos are not allowed, and cell phones are not allowed out at the counter, which I find odd when most places want you to share their products around. Anyway, not my favorite bakery, probably more for the non-food reasons then anything, but that...

Sent myvwife on 8-22-24 to get me what a few people said makes ma"s cupcake taste like trash. We'll I was excited to try git home opened up multi pack tried double chocolate. It was dry and rubber like threw it out tried banana pudding and was only slightly better omg this place needs a baking class.
