This IHOP on Teal Court in Danville is a pretty good location. In the past I have stopped here and itâs always been pretty good. Sometimes the meals are better than your previous visits, sometimes not.. On my most recent visit I really liked how they greeted me when I entered. âHello sir, how are you?â With some enthusiasm. They were some eager beavers that day.. extremely eager to please me. It almost seemed weird how enthusiastic and eager they were. However, looking back, I feel they were very genuine and it was very nice. I am looking back smiling. The French toast was awesome and is always something I greatly enjoy at IHOP. It is a simplistic, tasty safe bet. You will love IHOPâs French toast from first bite to the last! Youâre getting 3 slices of big, thick bread cut in half to make 6 triangles of delicious toast.. itâs got whipped butter.. powered sugar.. writing this is making my mouth water. IHOPâs butter, by the way, is so delicious. It actually tastes like real butter, itâs amazing. Get a little of the delicious butter in each bite and youâll feel like youâre in French toast heaven! Yum!! Also the lemon ricotta blueberry French toast is anazing.. so is the strawberry banana. I especially enjoy the strawberry banana.. it tastes extra delicious with the glazed strawberries! Now unfortunately I have to talk about the bad.. never, I repeat.. NEVER order a T-bone steak from IHOP! The photos of the T-Bone look great and very appetizing but what I was served was anything but. The thing was a gray color.. the texture looked horrible.. I truly thought it had been cooked in a microwave or something! One bite and I knew I had made a gigantic mistake! Instead of finishing the disgusting thing, you are better taking off your shoe and eating that instead. At least if you did that, you might be able to hop out of IHOP with some self-respect and personal worth! The T-Bone is absolutely not worth your time. I have heard a lot of people say similar things about IHOPâs T-Bones. Trust me. I was like âMan, What the heck did they serve meâ âYooo what is thisâ Haha! You may want to try the Cowboy BBQ burger. Itâs topped with some delicious bacon. Itâs got two onion rings, a wonderful hickory bbq sauce and American Cheese. The onions are really sweet and they pair very well with the bacon. Thereâs a decent tang to the bbq sauce.. I think they could spread it a little more thickly on.. I noticed it was spread pretty thin. Canât get enough bbq sauce, baby! Those crispy sweet onions are enough to boost up my liking of the Cowboy bbq burger. That thing is quite delicious! Overall, I would...
Read moreIf I could leave 0 I would. Wait for 10 minutes just to be asked for drinks. Then 5 minutes just to get them which in turn of course forgot creamer when we asked. When we did get our food, 20 minutes later. It was fine except of course when she asked which condiments we needed before the food came out. She never brought the entire meal because she never came back. So we had to get someone else to fix it for us. Then during the whole time. The people beside us were waiting to order and they sat down before we even got our food. Then after she realized everything were done because we moved all the plates over she came. Then asked if we wanted more drinks. So she brought me a drink but then told us a story about how sh told someone to bring us coffee because she noticed we didnât have it 20 minutes ago. So anything that went wrong with the meal. She clearly blamed it on someone else. My wife and daughter left to get in the car after waiting for so long. Then she finally decided I bring the check good right? No she put the check down and left and said she would be right back to get my card. 10 minutes after the meal to get a check. Then after 15 minutes I got up to go to the front register. Keep in mind while sitting where I was in the booth I could see her talking to her friends and going to a select couple of tables during all of this with drinks but for some reason forgot all about us even by myself and the couple to the left of us. I went up to pay then they called for her and she claimed that she saw me and was coming which was clearly a lie. Then we leave. 10 minutes later I realized I left a cup that we had brought. So we drive back I walk in and she says something like oh hey didnât know if tall actually left or not because we saw the really nice cup. Keep in mind we left 20 minutes ago and the table still has dishes on it and she was the one that checked me out when I left. What is going on IHOP? Where do you find these people? Do you do any kind of customer service training of any kind? Of course no one cares because everyone thinks oh this never happens. Every single time we go this happens at this exact one. Only in Danville. Obviously we will not return because no matter how many times people mentioned things or suggestions they...
Read moreArrived just after 2pm. Not crowded, but all customers were seated in one section with 3 wait staff to serve less than 8 tables. I had to wash up in the ladies room, and found an absolute mess... urine all over the seat in on stall, and toilet paper was all over the floor in all 3 stalls, with the paper seatcover dispenser torn halfway off the wall in one stall. We placed our order to the waitress, who did not write anything down. I ordered sweet tea with no ice, and I got it with no ice. The refill I asked for later though had ice. If it was written down I believe she would have remembered no ice. We overheard staff say they were out of hash browns. After bringing coffee, they stated they were out of half n half. Sent coffee back and got OJ instead. Overheard staff say they were out of French toast. Overheard staff say they were out of grits. Waitress came past us and while still walking said something about pancakes. We asked her what she said and while standing at another table, she said it again, but we could still not understand her. She then said they were waiting for our pancakes to get done. In several minutes she brought the pancakes and walked away without asking if we wanted syrup. We had to stop her when she came back to wait on another table and ask for maple syrup. We asked to speak to the manager and when she came over we told her about the ladies bathroom and asked why they were out of so much food, and she said the delivery truck was due yesterday and had not made it in yet today. Our order of toast with jelly was forgotten and after reminding the waitress she finally brought the toast and slid the plate onto our table and walked away. No jelly. She waited on another table and we could not catch her to ask for jelly. We didn't eat the toast. I highly doubt we will eat...
