So we have eaten here hundreds of time since they opened. Never had any issues, previous employees were great. Unfortunately, things have changed. Went there today and ordered exactly what we always order. Got the sandwich and upon eating it realized they didn't use honey mustard as requested. Instead it was a dark mustard with seeds in it. Most likely dijon or stone mustard. I spoke to the person in charge, Alexis, about this. All she did was ask the girl to point to the container she used then very abruptly stated "it is honey mustard ". She didn't even bother to look at the sandwich. Honey mustard is light in color, no seeds and sweet. I am fully aware of the difference in mustard. She did not offer to replace the sandwich. Her disposition was very abrupt and rude. The girl who made the sandwich appeared to be new as she had to ask Alexis questions when using the cash register and when making the fries. The reason this upset me is because my friend with me has diverticulitis and seeds, nuts, etc. can cause serious problems when consumed. I don't know what has happened to customer service, but I seriously doubt we will be returning here to eat. It's really a shame as previously the food and...
Read moreThis was our first time in. We were greeted by many employees behind the counter as we walked in. We told them this was our first time so someone rushed over to show us how it works. It's a unique setup. There is a counter with paper bags and markers. You grab one of 2 bags that have all the menu options on them. You write your name at the top, then go down the list and mark what you want on your sandwich or salad, as well as if you want chips, a cookie or soda. Then you bring your bag to the register and they ring you up, build your sandwich or salad and put it in the bag you marked. Our location is partnered with a Paciugo cafe so also had gelato and espresso to offer at the same register. Everything was delicious. We liked that the bread was more of a baguette than french bread. The staff were all super friendly, helpful and offered as many samples of the gelato or sorbet as we wanted (we only tried 1, the salted caramel pecan, which was amazing). I have anxiety going to new places, but because everyone was so friendly it made the experience fun and put us at ease. We will...
Read moreFirst off, I got a cup of gelato and their hot chocolate. The gelato was amazing!! I got wild berry and mango, and the mango tasted like I was eating a mango. It had perfectly balanced flavors and sweetness, in both flavors.
For the hot chocolate, it was what I'd expect from a hot choc, but the flavors and consistency of it made me just want to savor every single drop. And, as soon as I got it, it was already at the perfect drinking temp. Not too hot, but no where near cold.
As far as inside the establishment itself, it's very homely, not too loud, and has modern and comforting style. Everybody I've met in there so far was polite and helpful.
Will absolutely be coming back here. Excited to try more in the future. So glad to see more good places like this opening up...
