I wasn’t going to leave a review but since the owner of the Danville location is clearly dishonest and unethical I will do so. My mother in law left a review below which the owner claims has been “dealt with on both sides”. It has not. We, multiple people, reached out several different ways with zero correspondence back. So I WILL share our experience as I have given ample time for this to be addressed and made right. Our service was awful. We had a party of 10. With 7 of them being children. They tried sitting us at a high top, with 2 high chairs that clearly wouldn’t reach. Acted as if it were an inconvenience that that was not going to work, and had to wait several more minutes to be seated after informing them that was not going to accommodate our needs. After being seated the host took our drink orders. It took forever to get drinks, 10 or more minutes. Someone else took our food order. While waiting on our food order my mother walked in the bathroom to hear the GENERAL MANAGER Lindsay Wolford talking poorly about my non verbal autistic one year old. Several ugly comments were made on his screaming and my parenting on “just letting him”- which was far from the case. His father and myself were offering him snacks, activities, and walking around trying to soothe him. When I addressed her upon her exiting the bathroom her “solution” was “apps on me!” We waited over an hour for food while we were the ONLY table in the restaurant at which point ANOTHER server brought us our food. The food was cold, we never got our salads until the wings came and they weren’t even the correct salads. Our cups were empty the entire time and we had to ask for refills from whoever we could grab. After the food was cold and subpar I asked to speak to a manager. This is how I find out the manager was who made fun of my child and was informed by another employee in leggings and a hoodie that she was having a “psychotic break over her words” and sent her. She said we could have the food for free and gave us 2 free fried pickle coupons. It wasn’t about free food, or we wouldn’t have been there and I passed the coupons along to customers who were coming in and let them know we wouldn’t be using them or returning due to the treatment my autistic child received. While addressing all of my concerns with this other employee a boy CHILD comes from the kitchen and punches my 7 year old niece in her face. My 7 year old son then steps in front of her to protect her where the child then tries to swing on him, which he blocks. At this point we are beyond livid, rightfully. I yell into the kitchen “WHOS KID IS THIS” and after an employee came out and saw who it was and tried to excuse it I yelled again, “no, who’s fu**ing kid is this?!” At which point a server comes forward to claim the child stating she’s a single mother and didn’t have childcare. I totally understand being a single mom, but in no way is this excusable. A child should not be unsupervised in a restaurant, or assaulting customers. The server continues to remove her apron and tells us she is going to call social services on us… for what? I’m still unsure. So we called the police since the server started making threats.
However- the owner, the supervisor, anyone outside of this store on the day of did not reach out or “handle” anything! Save your money and time and go...
Read moreWent out with the wife for a quick beer and some wings because we had a short window without kids. We walk in and a fight was being handled and trying to be resolved . No big deal right…. I mean hey things happen but it was just a strange vibe from there. Our server was sub par. Let me explain, she was nice but not on her game. I had ordered a beer and the wife a sweet tea. With in a few minutes she had served the tea and walked off. A few minutes later she came back to ask what drink I had ordered. I told her and a few minutes later she returned with my beer. But I shrugged it off. It was no big deal right? Sometimes we forget things. It happens.🤷🏼♂️ But it was just down hill after that. A few minutes later she returned to take our order’s. We ordered an appetizer and only took about 10 min to get it. At this point we hat been the for about 20 min. She returned about 10 minutes later and took our order. After putting in our order she immediately brought our ticket out to the table and said take your time. Then she disappeared again for another 25 minutes. Finally she shows up with our food. We only ordered 15 wings plane with sauce in the side. Why did it take so long? At this point we had been there for about 55 minutes and just got our food. The restaurant was only about 1/4 full. Not really busy at all. Our server stayed gone with no check in’s, no refills, not even around to see us from a far. She disappeared into the kitchen and wasn’t seen again for another 20 min! When she did come back she ask are y’all ok and I replied yes. She the started to walk away and I had to speak up and ask for a to go box and to tell her we want to pay. It’s like she wanted to run off again. It almost seemed like she didn’t really care about service and was more about brushing off her responsibilities. So at the end we spent over an 1hr 20 min of time there because she was just gone for the most part. Like not even on the floor.
This was simply the worst service I have had in the Danville area. She only got 15% tip because well we wasn’t going to be total a#%hloes and probably should not have tipped at all. Oh well..
I will not be returning to this place and will make sure I tell this story to anyone who entertains the idea of going here....
Read moreIf I could rate this today, I wouldn't even give a one star. Very very disappointed. Raw wings, our order was wrong. The wedges where good. They where crispy hot and fresh. If you want to order that as a meal, they are good. But we went to have wings. I was never offended a refill, and at the price of a soft drink, would definitely had appreciated it. At least I was only charged for one drink. This used to be a good place to eat. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Bathrooms are not clean, table was dirty. The young lady who took us to the table had to wipe it off, she said, well they where supposed to do that last night.🤔 We even asked them to double cook our wings. When the manager came to our table, he told us that they had been , really, how do you double cook them and they still have blood on them????, He then proceeded to y inform us , they pre-cooked the wings that morning, and re cook them when ordered, then if they had been cooked supposedly twice, how are they served red, bloody, as in the attached photo? Again, it's not the first time. He then proceeded to tell us, they had been having problems with the wings not being cooked long enough, because some wings are larger than others. He had already alerted the cooks. So apparently this is a on going problem. The manager really didn't seem to concerned. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! We did try again on 2023.. it was good service was good and wigs hot and done perfectly. Definitely will go back. Thank you for...
