first if all, when i called the bakery, the lady who answered was rude. But i still wanted delicious bakery cupcakes, so i placed my order anyway. I called ahead of time to order BIRTHDAY cupcakes. I was told I would have 6 birthday cupcakes (as I ordered). This was the day before Halloween, which was why i called to make sure I could get birthday cupcakes. When i arrived, i was given a box of 6 HALLOWEEN cupcakes. I dtated that i wanted birthday sprinkles and was then told "well, its halloween tomorrow so were only making Halloween cupcakes". I was disappointed because i had ordered ahead and was told it would be no problem. Then i was asked if i wanted to leave a tip. Which i did, reluctently (but thats on me). So paid over $20 for cupcakes, plus a $3 tip. It was not what i ordered and honestly, the yellow cupcakes were good but the chocolate ones were not, they were dry and seemed to be old. Respectfully, I will not be choosing this business to fill any future cake needs I have for special occasions. The cake I received was very mediocre in taste and appearance, especially for the cost. It seemed as if this business also had quite a few limitations when it came to what could be ordered regarding style, cake shape, and craftsmanship with buttercream and lettering. Also, when I reached out in a kind way about my order not being satisfactory in hopes of getting one simple fix on the cake done, I didn’t ever get one single response back. Even when business hours resumed. That is a red flag and highly unprofessional, in my opinion. In short, if you want an order of simple cupcakes, you’ll be fine. The ownership has changed as of September 2017. The bakery products are no longer excellent. They are not even good -- They are tolerable if one is desperate for something sweet. I bought five items expecting the same deliciousness from the previous owner. The products were dry and lacked quality ingredients. Because I was expecting the same quality products, I did not look closely at what I was buying. Had I looked closer, I would have seen that they were different. They did not look good either. From the previous owner, I had bought many cookies, bars, cakes, slices of cake, and cupcakes for family, friends, students, co-workers, and myself. Every time and everything was above board.
