Whiskey Bay Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Daphne

The customer service from one of the bartenders was absolutely HORRIBLE ! The bartender told me because I didn’t tip her on my ticket I just purchased 3 shots on, she couldn’t serve me anymore…little did she know, we had a separate tab open that we WERE going to tip her on!! I asked her to repeat what she said because I’ve never in my life heard someone tell me..so she repeated it, and I asked her to show me that in their policy…she couldn’t…so I told her to take her ass on with that especially if I’m paying $40 for three shots and we had another ticket open that we were still buying drinks on PLUS my family still buying drinks and tipping you !! She also didn’t realize my fiancé was standing behind me and when I walked off, she talked about me and said out loud if I don’t like it I can go somewhere else…my fiancé is standing up at the bar about to buy another drink but when she said that to about me he decided to close OUR tab we were going to put a tip on for her… by the time he got the receipt from the other bartender, he watched her go outside and get TWO men to come and escort me out while I was back in the back with my family and continuing our game of pool..when the two men approached me , one of them told me he was sent to escort me out..I said I’m not going no where especially because I didn’t do anything except speak my mind…my fiancé also came up and asked what was the issue and one of the guys asked my fiancé why did he come up so aggressively and he simply replied because she (the bartender) sent two men bigger than my lady to escort her out for her not tipping and speaking her mind..from there it escalated to something it didn’t need to be simply because of one bartender who already acted like she didn’t want to service me from the start…the entire experience was awful because it came across as if they already don’t want black people in their establishment just by how they talk to you and the signs that states “absolutely no rap music” I asked the gentleman at the door when we first arrived why did they rush to put the sign out as they saw a crowd of black people walking in…he said they put the sign out because they had a big fight a week or so ago and the music that was played at the time was NBA YoungBoy and so now they play country… I should have turned my family around then but because we were celebrating someone’s birthday, I let it ride…never again will I or my family step foot in the...

What's the point of having "waitresses" if the customer has to order at the bar, pay at the time of ordering and picking up your own food? The appetizers were left in the fryer too long, the fountain drinks were barely carbonated. The pizza was underwhelming at best for the size and price. The dart board area is just a cramped space. Consistent issues with a neighboring business and law enforcement, that's a big red flag for me. Also, whoever runs their social media should get out of their feelings when offered constructive feedback. Blocking someone on social media is crybaby tactics at best. Hard pass on ever setting foot in the place ever again. Best of luck to ya'll though. P.S. just get a jukebox. If you are looking for a place to eat do not waste your time and money. Worst brisket nachos I’ve ever had not sure how you mess up nachos but they excel in it. Overly priced, slow service in an almost empty restaurant, lazy management sent the waitress to address an issue instead of them handling it. The nachos had hardly any queso and was drenched in ranch so I brought it up to the waitress she without telling us she was charging us for a whole side of queso brings it out, when we got the ticket and addressed it with her she went to remove it and management refused to removed it or even come to see what the issue was. Chips were old and the brisket tasted like it was out of a package or microwaved. The waitress was sweet and just put in a tough spot by her management she also was waiting on every table while the other staff sat at the bar chatting. This might be a great bar for drinks but don’t bother eating there, the pictures they advertise are not an accurate description of their food.
