Alert!! This will be a long review and my painful story and experience at this place! I feel my blood shooting to my head as I recall this episode and I am not able to forgive myself for this experience and feeling handicapped not being able to do anything other than writing this review.. I picked my elderly parents from Chicago and driving them back to Nebraska, we decided to stop in Iowa for dinner and when we’re close to Davenport IA my ELDERLY parents were hungry at around 9 pm on a Monday night as the jet lag was kicking in as well, I looked up for an Indian restaurant near me and found this place.. everything was fine, we saw that the place SHOWED OPEN till 10:00 pm on google.. we went to the place by the time we entered it was around 9:15 pm my parents were super hungry and we happily entered the place.. no other customer in the restaurant so I told them that we can expect the food to arrive early and they can savor the Indian food they longed for and take their medicines.. we did not see anyone approach us as we entered, we ourselves called one of the gentleman who was at the cash register and the gentleman came and said they were not serving food at the restaurant as they were closed and they can do only take outs.. I tried to reason with him his name he said was ‘Deep’ as to the restaurant time showing as closing at 10 pm on google and on the door and the time was just 9:15pm he would not listen, I almost begged him to at least have them sit in a corner table so they can eat a roti or something as they needed to take their medicine and he would not budge I even told him we will not make large orders just roti will be fine and his answer was I can make orders but take it out and can’t eat at the restaurant I did not know what else to do and my mom was tired and almost would faint if she didn’t eat and this heartless person wouldn’t let us sit or eat.. I asked him for his manager or whoever owns the place he said his name was ‘’Bunty “ and he would not give me his number or anything.. I felt So helpless and got the food in the bag and sat in the car and had them eat the food.. this is the worst experience I have had in my life, heartless, ruthless and the so called Indian restaurant was no desi or a heart of a desi.. I am still not able to Reason this behavior and appalled by this incident.. I don’t care how good or bad the food was ‘I WILL NEVER GO BACK IN A MILLION YEARS’ the food was good or bad but who cares.. 2+ dollar for a bottle of water? Such a ripoff I guess.. I feel stupid for not video recording this incident so everyone could have seen.. my only advice is don’t trust this place for emergency or hospitality.. Disgusting, dishonor to Indians at heart and worthless.. please share if you had similar experience this is not even bad customer service this is terrible and I am not sure if there are people out there who have had similar experience.. what can we do about this.. @ owners of this place need to reconsider their hospitality and fix this.. not acceptable and not fair.. writing with a lot of pain even after couple of weeks of deliberations as to why they would do this - is this because I am from India, certain part of India or my language.. can’t get a valid reason for this behavior.. Shame...

The chicken pieces are usually marinated in a blend of spices, including red chili powder, ginger, garlic, and other secret ingredients that vary from recipe to recipe. This marinade infuses the chicken with a bold and spicy flavor.
When it comes to the texture, Chicken 65 is often deep-fried, resulting in a crispy exterior while retaining the juiciness of the chicken inside. The crispy coating adds a delightful crunch, which contrasts beautifully with the tender and succulent chicken.
The taste of Chicken 65 is a perfect balance of spicy, tangy, and savory flavors. The combination of spices, along with the addition of curry leaves and yogurt in some variations, creates a harmonious explosion of taste in every bite. The spice level can be adjusted according to personal preference, but expect a certain level of heat in this dish.
Chicken 65 is often served as an appetizer or a starter, accompanied by a side of mint chutney or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. The dish is so popular that it has even inspired various variations, such as Paneer 65 for vegetarians or Gobi 65 using cauliflower instead of chicken.

Read moreI've given this place 3 tries now and I won't be returning anymore. The servers are friendly, but they are not familiar with the menu items they're selling. The first time we visited, I got the totally wrong dish because the server didn't know what I asked for and basically guessed rather than clarifying. The second time I went, I just ordered carry out and that was fine. The third and final time, we didn't even get our food. We arrived and waited to be seated. All of the empty booths were dirty and we had to ask the server to clean at least one so we could sit down. A couple of different people took our order, but nobody actually wrote anything down, and it became clear after about 25 minutes of waiting that our order wasn't even put in. A couple of tables came in after us and got their items while we sat there patiently. Finally, we had to flag down a random server and ask if they could check on our order. She came back to our table and told us that they'd put our order in and it should only be 15 more minutes. That's unacceptable. We told her not to bother with making our orders and we just left. We went to Mantra, our very favorite Indian restaurant, and they had our food out to us faster than it took Flavours of India to even acknowledge our existence. If you want good Indian food and good service, I highly recommend MANTRA in...
