Very Upset with this Experience!!! This was a decision as we were out doing errands after work day and decided to order. Told it would be 25 min which is odd for them so had to kill more time until ready. Then went in to get and Name wrong but She assured me name wrong but correct food. I check tag on bag and asked again that yhis was My bag with these items. YES she states. We left, live on other end of town. 745pm by this point. Take food out of bag and open, Wrong items!!! Called, was told to come back in 10 min and would be correct food- will give 50% off original charge. I got there 15-20 min lat er and she us standing there with bag. Opened and showed food. Verified that a name if one dish had been changed but was correct entree. I asked about the discount back to card and now she tells me they gave me a $3 credit for my gas and will write name down for 1 free entree next time. Ok.. NO you told me refunding 50%on phone. Then I'm told we'll I had the free mistake entrees at home! Which were 2 fried rice. MY order was a $46 order!!! I didn't think I was supposed to bring food Opened in my kitchen back to restaurant??!!! This was Your mistake I say not mine. Is my time worth nothing either as now it is 820pm and I'm leaving to go home and finally eat dinner!! I told her they needed to make it Right and I left!! This was Ridiculous!! Shouldn't have been a question about resolving this mistake! I thought I was being fair to agree to 50% originally. Some friends said they should have refunded total and remade food too!?? Well next time my husband said it will be the Bistro down the street that gets...

We recently visited Davenport to meet up with a friend and had the chance to sample several restaurants. There were five of us, three adults and two youths (14 and 11).

Our favorite by far was Exotic Thai. We started with two appetizers, miang kam and dumplings (for the girls). I've never tasted anything quite like the miang kam. Toasted coconut, dried shrimp, lime, red onion, ginger and peanut wrapped in spinach leaves with a house-made sauce. Clean, crisp, refreshing flavors with just a bit of bite in the sauce. Very nice presentation.

For entrees, we shared tropical curry, spicy basil noodles and a scallion saute. Out of deference to the young girls, we ordered everything at their nominal levels of spice. The tropical curry (ordered with tofu) was my favorite...nice chunks of tender crisp carrots, tofu, and pineapple, with a nice dose of spicy basil leaves in a creamy curry sauce. We asked for extra bowls of rice to soak up every bit of sauce. The spicy basil noodles had just the right amount of heat, maybe a bit much for the tame, but not approaching my limit. The scallion saute was a hit with my oldest, who's not into coconut or spice.

The service was very attentive and friendly, despite a full house. Our only disappointments were that they wouldn't share the recipe to the miang kam sauce (understandable, and we were able to buy some to take home) and that we didn't find the restaurant earlier in our trip, I'm sure we'd have been back to sample some of their...

I put 1star on everything since we never had the opportunity to even eat. We went in on a Wednesday early was only the second table there, the hostess said someone would be by to get our order. We waited no one every came for 10 minutes when the hostess sat another table noticed no one had waited on us she then said she would double check. We waited another ten minutes then the hostess sat a table right next to us and the waitress should up to them before they were done being seated, so we gave her the benefit and thought after she was done with the other table, she would come by instead got there drinks served them took their food order and walked away. By then I was so frustrated we just got up and left and no seemed to care. I would say not the best customer service. I usually just don’t go back to restaurants when things like this happen but as I have read reviews this seems to be the norm. So hopefully people will read first before they have my experience. I was there waiting for over 30 minutes and never was served. I tend to be patient since I was a server for many years but this is just unfortunate that they seem not to care....

Great meal this evening! Lemongrass soup with shrimp was delicious. Our entrees were excellent. She enjoyed the Chicken Rama on a bed of steamed veggies with brown rice. I chose the Crying Tiger: New York strip on bed of salad greens, topped with sauteed asparagus spears. Hot spicy dish that you can personally dial-up till the tears flow. The appetizer platter was a feast for the eyes. The fried rice-noodle-wrapped shrimp looked very interesting but were rather dry to the taste. The chicken satay, spring rolls, and vegetable rolls were very tasty! Our sole reason for driving 40 minutes to visit this restaurant was the Angel Wings advertised on their web site. When we arrived, were disappointed to learn this item is no longer part of their menu. Our waitress was very helpful and kind. Would definitely dine here again.
