I recently placed an order through Uber Eats from your restaurant. I ordered a grilled cheese and, due to dietary restrictions, I needed the bacon left off. I’ve been vegetarian for over five years due to health reasons. Unfortunately, neither Uber Eats nor DoorDash offers the option to remove meat, which is surprising given how common dietary preferences and restrictions are. Immediately after placing my order, I called the restaurant and politely asked if the bacon could be left off. I explained that I couldn’t customize the item through the app. The hostess responded curtly, telling me: “This is a warning. We’ll only do this just this once. Next time, you have to do it through the app.” I reiterated that the app does not allow this customization and suggested the restaurant might consider updating the listing to allow for such a simple request. The response I received was, “We have no control over what Uber Eats or DoorDash does.” I understand restaurants don’t always want to accommodate extensive modifications, especially through delivery platforms—but this was simply asking to leave one ingredient off. I made the effort to call immediately and approach the situation respectfully, but I was met with unnecessary rigidity and an unwelcoming attitude. As a customer, I believe restaurants should be able to meet reasonable requests—especially ones as straightforward as omitting meat from a sandwich. This isn’t a fine-dining establishment where alterations compromise the “vision of the dish.” It’s a grilled cheese sandwich. The dismissive tone and lack of flexibility were disappointing and left a poor impression. Attached is a screenshot of Doordash where it clearly states "This store has chosen not to accept special requests. Contact them directly". I hope you’ll consider not only allowing such options through your delivery listings but also encouraging your staff to approach customer interactions with more understanding. Good day.

Absolutely horrible service tonight never been argued with about how I order my food the wrong way then served raw food twice and raw eggs at another seat at our table then to have the manager come out and tell me that's what I asked for and to argue with the whole table 1 out of 6 plates were made correct I'm sorely disappointed with all staff kitchen ,waitress, and especially the manager tonight

Took my husband here for breakfast for his birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. We shared a cookies n cream milkshake, we both ordered strawberry lemonades, he had the chicken tenders with ranch and extra fries, and he got the cheeseburger crush with American cheese. I had the French toast combo with blueberries and whipped cream scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon.

Worse service I have ever received had to ask two times to be waited on in a group of 11. Then finally order taken Half group still didn’t have there drinks , finally said something to general mgr ,he started back to talk to waitress she said she had drinks ready. But she didn’t have them all nor right waited about 15 minutes for salad. And another 15 minutes or so for meals after waiting about 10 to 15 before I spoke with GM 45 minutes and they were not that busy. For food is terrible Gm stated we had another party come in. 6-7 people. We looked around. I know. All 11 of us. Will not be visiting village inn again. And my potato’s were cold. But didn’t want to send them back afraid I wouldn’t get meal back or another 10 minutes one lady ordered a steak no knife On plate waitres went to go get it and her broccoli I gave her mine from chicken fried steak so she can eat then waitress came back about 3-5 later. With broccoli and knife and when she saw she had a knife my friend said I gave her mine she said sorry thought someone else brought one out I worked as a waitress cook for many different kinds of places I do not get upset over small things not wanting to take care of us is rude. Well woke up n the lady got ready to make breakfast. I told her no n that we would go to village inn as it was just here around the corner. Well I ordered our food n they brought it back . I had ordered a separate order of wheat toast bread with my order which I did not get and when I had taken 3 spoonfuls of my ordered on the third one I felt something in my mouth I reached with my finger and it was a hair. I wiped my mouth with the towel n set it down on the table n placed the hair on the plate. I called the waitress n they took the plate n I placed a different order with something 2 dollars cheaper. As I started eating on my second plate I reached for the towel I had wiped my mouth with earlier n there a much longer hair on it of the same color. I didn’t say nothing. The manager came and apologized n said they had taken the order off my ticket. They brought the bill n the charge for the 1 st order was still there I told the cashier n they changed it to the second order which was 2 dollars less. My point is I don’t feel I should had been charged period. I don’t like to make scenes but it upset my stomach so much I spent 40 mins in the toilet puking and with diarrhea. I hate that place n will never go back again. Sorry....
