If the problems I state later in this review are fixed, I would rate this place 5 stars easily. To be constructive, I try to provide solutions to the restaurant hoping that the staff will read my review.
All in all, I love the food and the place, but the front of house workers (waiters and waitresses) need to be more attentive and timely. They’ve been quite forgetful lately, which ruins the experience. Also, I think the portions should be re-evaluated.

The food, drinks, and atmosphere are great in taste. My family and I absolutely love the food, as this is one of the best Peruvian restaurants we’ve been to.
However, in the times we’ve been here, we’ve experienced a pattern of behavior that I think the restaurant should consider evaluating.
I want to start with the worst offender - the staff’s timings. I do not mean the wait to get the food or the wait to sit down. What I mean is that the service has on many occasions forgotten to bring items as simple as a Coca-Cola, resulting in these items arriving at the table after the food has been served and mostly eaten (even after 1 or 2 reminders). Additionally, our appetizers were sometimes received at the same time as our main dishes, which isn’t the intention of an appetizer.
Solution - Talk to the front of house (FOH) workers. Provide them notepads and pens that they may hold onto while walking around so that they can write down their priorities. Maybe create some sort of protocol or order of operations that the FOH can rely on as a checklist. Ex: “A FOH worker should follow these guidelines: Priority 1 = … Priority 2 = … … Etc.”
The food is delicious but the portions are so small! The chaufa amazónico appetizer is a set of 3. That doesn’t split evenly for anyone except the rare case of a thruple LOL
Additionally, I love the tacos, but man… 2 tacos? It’s not going to fill anybody, and whether or not that’s by design, I would rather pay a little more for 3 tacos. Almost every restaurant that sells tacos sells them either in singles or threes.
Solution - Evaluate cost and portions. Consider increasing both...
Read moreCeviches by Divino is a Peruvian restaurant in Davie, Florida that serves up some of the most delicious and authentic ceviche in the area. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you - the food is anything but ordinary.
The menu at Ceviches by Divino features a wide variety of ceviches, from traditional seafood ceviches to more creative options like the Ceviche Frito, which is fried ceviche served with sweet potato and choclo (Peruvian giant corn). The ceviches are all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and are perfectly cooked. The flavors are bright and refreshing, and the portions are generous.
In addition to ceviches, Ceviches by Divino also serves a variety of other Peruvian dishes, such as Causa Rellena, a dish made with mashed potatoes, avocado, and seafood, and Anticuchos, skewers of grilled beef heart. The other dishes are just as delicious as the ceviches, and they're all made with the same fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The service at Ceviches by Divino is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. The restaurant is also very affordable, making it a great option for a casual meal.
Overall, Ceviches by Divino is a great place to go for delicious and authentic Peruvian food. The ceviches are the star of the show, but the other dishes are also excellent. The service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Ceviches by Divino to anyone looking for a great Peruvian meal.

Read moreFood tasted great, i really enjoyed the flavors. Knocked a star for terrible service and knocked a second star for ridiculously tiny portions, everything we ordered looked like a kids meal portion it was nothing short of comical. We are three people, werent even that hungry and we ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrees to be complete. Total was about $125. First regarding the service the time we waited for entrees after apps exceeded an hour which i have to attribute to someone forgetting to put our order in. No one checked on us in that time, water didnt get refilled, we asked for coke about four times before getting one. The sushi roll was super unique and refreshing we loved it and its the only item i think was normal size. second was the tostone con chicharon it was delicious but only came with three tiny bites. Queso fundido, ok but nothing special and again, tiny. The arroz con mariscos was not only tiny but the rice was rock hard and under cooked-for the hour we waited this is unacceptable. The burrito was itty bitty comparable to $2 tacobell burrito, flavors were ok but overall very plain. The taco and bao bun as an entree is quite literally a joke ill add a pic of a small handed person grabbing it, was a total of 4 bites combined for the whole plate. Overall even though the food was good id never come back based in the portions and the...
