I would give negative if possible. I ordered a cake online for my.moms 76th birthday at the Dairy Queen on 84 in Davie in Shenandoah Plaza. I came to pick up at the designated time. The girl at the counter said they don't use the app so they didn't have it ready. I said oh well I ordered online and got a confirmation that it would be ready at the stated time and showed her my email confimation. She said they don't do that because they are a franchise what kind of cake do you want? I said let me look at my order. She said they didnt have that one. I was due at the party in 30 min. I said I'll take another and could she please write Happy Birthday Grammy on it. She looked really mad about having to take the time to write on it. I said we'll since I pre ordered to have it written i thought it would just be done and ai could come in and pick it up. She begrudgingly went to do it. She game back and it said Happy Birthday GAMY and the most terribly ugly writing.l I have ever seen on a cake with most of the letters being almost indecisiferable. I asked could she please spell Grammy this way.. Grammy? She refused and yelled at me that I was being difficult. Then my husband came in bc he was waiting for me in the car. She told him that she would add the letters it had I asked for it. I said I had asked and she has said no. She kept saying I would have done it if you asked me to? I said ok then can you do it? She said nevermind I will give you a refund and that I should go to Publix bevause they serve Carvel cakes there. She was belligerent and kept telling me in a very loud rude tone. you are making people wait! I think she wanted me to get more of a rise out of me? I said ok I'll take the refund. She said she didnt know how. I saaid you just offered me a refund. She said I have to call my manager and told him she didnt write it correctly.becaude It wouldn't fit and that I told her to get out of my face which I never said as that doesn't even make sense? I said can I just have a refund like you said I could? She refused to give me a refund and said once she wrote on it she couldn't. Then she walked away and ignored me and went to the person behind me.The WORST customer service I have experienced and in South Floirda that is really saying something. Next time I will definitely go to Publix where you can get a nice Carvel cake with legible correctly spelled writing and a nice person that doesn't yell and degrade you and then offer a refund and then not give it. I am not sure what was going on in this girls life that made her so angry about something so simple but it was beyond...

Read moreI have read the reviews concerning this dairy queen and their are plenty of negative one's. If management would take the time and hire people that have good customer service skills then in my opinion the negative reviews would dwindle down. I just wanted to take the time and write a positive one. My wife myself and my grandson walked in and within one minute we were greeted. Had a awesome experience with the associate behind the counter; didn't get his name but he definitely enjoyed doing his job. The place smelled super clean and everything was in order behind the counter. No mess everything organized. Management treat your people good and pay them what they deserve and you will notice a difference in there attitudes. When associates are not happy that spills over into how they treat...
