I ordered a dragon bowl with protein powder added. I asked what the fruit toppings were and was told the fruit at the moment was strawberries, blueberries, banana and coconut. I asked for the fruit and granola to be the only toppings since I have allergies. They assured me it would be made the right way.

The bowl came with pineapple, which I'm allergic to. I brought it back and asked for them to remake it, reminding them I'm allergic to pineapple. They brought it back out to my table. I immediately found pineapple in it again. They simply scraped most of the pineapple off, then covered it with more strawberries rather than making me a new one, so I took it back again. The next (actually remade) bowl came out without the protein powder, which was the main thing I wanted. Just saw this place and decided I'd take a look since they sell açai bowls and were open when I passed. I'm extremely glad I did. Everyone there was extremely helpful and they had a fair amount of options. Although I came for an açai bowl I decided to try one of their juices instead. I'm extremely glad I did. The first drink on the juice menu was what I ordered with green apples, kale, ginger, and a few other organic ingredients. I purchased a glass straw as well that the ladies had no problem washing for me and giving me a glass for my juice instead of a plastic cup. Usually I dont make special requests or for these types of accommodations but the women were extremely helpful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Zen Bar is a true GEM! If you haven't had the pleasure of trying Zen Bar, you are seriously missing out. I cannot say enough about this place.

Their acai bowls are unbelievable. No place out there consistently pours as much love into a blended bowl of goodness the way Zen Bar does. Other places often charge way too much for very little in return. Every smoothie, juice, and healthy snack Monica makes are truly one of a kind. At this point, Monica has my bowl memorized and knows my voice the second she answers the phone LOL talk about service!
