Sushi Song - Davie — Restaurant in Davie

When i first walked in the restaurant (uber said it will be ready in 20 minutes and i waited 30 before heading out) and told them my pick up order, they hadn’t even started it; mind you no one else is in the building. I have to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food in which i hear “well i guess that’s just how theyre going to get it.” The restaurant owner was banging plates around me and had a very rude demeanor. I thought i saw the sushi chef place down the order when he finished, but i couldn’t tell. After another 5+ minutes i finally decide to check for myself and lo and behold it was done. When i grabbed the bag that was already tied off, the restaurant owner scolded me to stay because there was a missing salad (which i didnt care because an option was required) Why hadn’t he done that when the sushi chef started his order? Or at least once he saw it was finished and im the only person in the store? He hands me his sloppy and lazy salad and i walk off with the bag in another hand. Or at least i tried to because he physically grabbed me to tell me “you know how it is! Put the box in the bag” after being treated horribly that entire time all i said was “this is a personal order,” to which he immediately frowned. I could tell for a while they thought i was a delivery driver and that just confirmed it. Referring to the chef and owner snickering about “thats how theyre going to get it” i could immediately tell they put wayyy too much spicy mayo on my roll. It was almost engulfing the whole sushi roll. Completely inedible. I tried the chef’s pick of 5 and i swear to you the fish had spoiled. I was so excited for this order as my friend recommended it to me before and it was all to waste. $60 and an hour of a humiliation. But honestly, poor delivery drivers if that how they feel entitled...

We were excited to try this place such a bummer !!!! Place was dead when we sat down we were the only table and two people at the bar. Lexi was our server she was sweet and attended to us quickly we ordered a few appetizers those came out fast but our sushi rolls never came out and we asked Lexi 45 min after we ordered what was going on, and she went and asked the sushi chef and he told her it was going to be another 35 min until we got our rolls!!!!!! 🤯 then two people who came way after us got theirs before us and we ordered before them. We literally ordered three simple rollsssssss !! We then figured out that he was making all the Uber eats orders first and making the guest dinning in wait almost an hour for their sushi the two guest sitting at bar got really upset and left pissed off and the sushi chef thought it was funny We asked for the check and then sushi chef looked at us and laughed and shrugged shoulders Very unprofessional. Everything about this place is perfection. I like it 10x better than the Fort Lauderdale spot. The menu has more variety, everything is fresh and delicious! This is definitely a unique fun little spot. Open late! This is perfect for a night owl like me! BIG SHOUT OUT TO LEXI FOR RUNNING THAT PLACE! First, we were the only table there and suddenly the place was booming! Tables filled and carry out orders popped out of the kitchen rapid fire. I'm honestly not sure how she did it, but she seemed to be running everything while remaining kind and attentive to my friend and I.
