I like Timmy's breakfast sandwiches and paninis from time to time. I love that they have cinnamon raisin bagels (I always get mine double toasted). They also make good unsweetened iced green tea. The tea doesn't hold a candle to Starbucks Jade Citrus Mint unsweetened iced green tea but it's still really good.
What I REALLY ❤️ is their new avocado 🥑 toast. I could literally eat it everyday. The toast is thin and has the perfect level of crispiness. The consistency of their guac is on point and the everything bagel seasoning that they sprinkle on top of it adds another layer of amazing flavor. I love the little chunks of dehydrated garlic that it has in it.
There are some things that I'm not a fan of at Tim Hortons. Their commercially produced donuts are just plain yuck in comparison to the real homemade donuts that you can get right down the street at Davison Home Bakery. Their hash browns are flavorless and soggy and the synthetic greasy whipped whatever it is that they use on top of their chemical tasting frozen drinks is absolutely disgusting. It's all good though, because I simply don't order these items. If other people like them, great. I personally don't.
I have always had great service from the staff at this location. Everyone is helpful and there are usually lots of smiles. I feel like everyone tries to do their best.
If you aren't the kind of person who is going to eat what they give you, regardless of whether it's what you have ordered or not, ALWAYS check your bag before pulling away from the window at this location. My food has been wrong on numerous occasions. For example, I'll get bacon (barf 🤢) on my breakfast sandwich as opposed to the sausage I ordered. I have also gotten egg several times when I have asked for no egg. In any case, I eat whatever they give me. I have never complained because I don't check my bag before I pull away.
Be advised that getting in and out of the parking lot in the morning, between 7a and 8a can be a total nightmare. Many days, the drive thru traffic backs all the way up M15 and it becomes impossible to safely turn out of the parking lot when you can't see around the cars turning into the parking lot. I'm not quite sure why anyone would ever sit in a drive thru line that long but whatever,...
Read moreWorst experience by a manager I have ever witnessed. Cassandra is absolutely the most disrespectful employee you have and she is training up a culture that I would not be proud of as a business owner. We placed an order for two hot chocolates and two cookies. We were told “we do not sell cookies” I apologized and then my daughter pointed out the cookies on the menu to which I responded “I’m sorry, I’m confused, the menu you says you have cookies”. The employee taking the order again said “we do not sell cookies. They are seasonal and only released in January” in a very disgusting tone. When I approached the window I asked for her name (she wasn’t wearing a name tag) to which she asked “why?” and then continued “if you think it was me who took your order it wasn’t”. I politely asked who did and the woman behind her stated “I took your order and I’m a manger here”. I responded “wow. Have a merry Christmas.” We will not be returning. Do better...
Read moreI tried to order two simple doughnuts, but had to settle for a 10 pack of chocolate tim bits. No big deal I'll live. Was then charged for a frap and given a box of Tim bits. When I questioned this I was asked "what do you want a refund is only a couple of cents?". Just give me my damn tim bits, and away I went. I reach in and pull out birthday cake tim bits. So a take my box of disappointment back to the front counter. Apparently the front counter and drive thru are two separate entities separated by vast perils, because no one from the front could go back and find out anything from drive thru. I could not be issued a refund because they had no idea what I purchased. On the bright side because of the employees incompetence there was time for my original two doughnuts to be restocked. so I did receive them I just have to check with my bank to find out what I actually paid for them. Next time I'll just bake my own, and save myself...
