This McDonald's is usually very good, but my husband went through the drive through this afternoon and placed his order. The older lady at the window was very nice, my husband asked her if she could relay to the cooks that we wanted hot fries and light mayonnaise on the chicken sandwich. When he got to the pick up window he asked the younger woman there if she would check the chicken sandwich to make sure it has light mayonnaise as he had ordered. Here's the part that seems to be more and more commonplace, rudeness! She complained loudly that she would have to go through the whole bag and that it said light mayo on the box. What is her problem? This is part of her job, to see that the customer is satisfied, right? Or had that changed. Does she think that customers don't matter? Do businesses think that customers don't matter? Maybe she doesn't appreciate the job she has, maybe she thinks it's acceptable to treat customers rudely. My husband wasn't rude to her. He was sick with COVID, and wore his mask and very thoughtfully explained to the cashier that he was sick. He paid with his card, which he cleaned with hand sanitizer before giving it to the nice lady, and then reminded her to be sure and hand sanitize her hands after handling the card just to be sure. When he got up to the pick up window and was getting ready to receive his bag of food, he didn't want to take it until he was sure the chicken sandwich was made right and that the fries were hot. Ultimately, the fries were only warm and the chicken sandwich was a sloppy mess. If he hadn't been sick and contagious he would have went back into the store and asked for replacements for both. The rude way he was treated by the young lady at the pick up window, and the lousy food was a total disappointment. It will be awhile before we give McDonald's in Dayton our...
Read moreThe teenagers working the window scanned my coupon on my phone, instead of it saving me money it added a dollar, I asked the teens where the extra dollar came from....their answer was oh someone had promoed it B4 the coupon so when they scanned the coupon they had to take the promo off. 😕 I said okay but can u tell me where the other $1 came from. They said they didn't know. After the third time of rewording and explaining I was just wondering what the $1 was added to I went business Mom mode. (A friend in the car with me says I went b*tch mode) that's not true tho, I just can't imagine if this was my company and my employees couldn't tell a customer why they were paying more, $1 or $1000 it still money. So I said here is the amount you asked for, but when I pull up, not right now cuz it seems like to tedious of a task for u to do right now, but when I pull, I want u to find where the other dollar got added to. Not particularly for me at this point, but for McDonald's, as a company, for your job and for yourself in case u are ever put in a similar situation, and for life because if u can't locate a simple dollar on a simple recipe how are you going to make it as an adult in real life when it's not $1 but $1000, do u understand. He handed me my change and I told the manager at the next menu make sure he locates that missing extra dollar, she had no idea what I was referring to but I'm sure she asked. I'm sorry if I'm blunt sometimes but I would not want my children or employees to not even attempt to answer my question as an employer and a mom, I felt it was the right...
Read moreLet me start this by saying that my 8 year old LOVES McDonald’s like most kid so every time we have a fast food night, I don’t even have to ask where she wants food from. This McDonald’s is the absolute WORST McDonald’s I have ever been to and I have been to over 50 different locations. There is nothing really wrong with the taste of the food EXCEPT for the fact that they can never seem to get the simplest of orders correct. I don’t mean just a little mistake here and there I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to send out order back at the very least 3 times and by the last time I’ve received the wrong order again, I just leave. This is the ONLY McDonald’s around for a while so it’s not like I have another location choice. They are rude too when you tell them for the third time that you and your kid are lactose intolerant so you can’t have cheese. They don’t understand why you or your child would want sauce for your nuggets or that you’re paying for extra sauces and apples. They don’t understand why driving back and forth just for a correct order is not only frustrating (especially for a hungry child) but also costs me gas money every time. They don’t care that your fries have gone cold waiting on them to get your order correct. They don’t care that your cookies could literally be used as weapons with how hard and cold they are. I can’t say one good thing about the workers or the facility itself and this is the first review I have ever left in my 35 years of life so that’s...
