Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Dayton

Called in to put in a take out order, and my husband goes to pick it up. They tell him they don’t have an order for pick up for him, but I double checked I called the right store and everything and they stated we don’t have an order for you. So, he goes back in reorders every thing, brings the food home and there was no meat on my sandwich. I called them asked to speak with a manager, told them my story, for her to come back and tell me my order is sitting at the store. So I asked them why did you guys tell my husband there was no order. She had absolutely no words for me whatsoever not I apologize anything. Then I asked why wasn’t there Meat put on my sandwich?? She got rude and put me on hold without even saying anything. Ask for a refund she said all we can do is send you a free coupon or remake the order. Ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life! Just lazy workers!!! That don’t care. The manager was rude. Guess this place is pretty known for not putting meat on sandwiches lol per the reviews. Do better!! People spending money on this stuff and work hard for them...

Ordered 1 sandwich on the way home from work, pulled up to the window 30 minutes later. Was asked for my name... 20 minutes later someone different asked for my name and 20 minutes later I was handed my sandwich. I ordered 1 large steak with no cheese, extra steak. Steak and bread... pretty easy, right? Slip on the bag says large steak, - provolone, + steak. Sandwich has less than half of the amount of a regular steak and some sort of dressing I couldn't even identify. I wish I could post a photo. 1 hour and 10 minutes for 1 sandwich... 40 minutes extra at the window... 16 dollars for a pile of mush that definitely couldn't identify as a "sandwich". Tried calling the store 3 times with no answer. Not worth the trip back from vandalia to even argue. Disappointing to...

The staff was rude and sitting on the food ordering counter! The sandwich was poorly constructed (thrown together) and the bread was hard! The French fries were not hot and couldn’t really be called French FRIES they were tiny pieces that looked like they were from the bottom of the basket. There were no paper towels in the ladies room. They were mopping the floors with a very sloppy wet mop. The floor was so wet that my mother who walks with a cane found her cane slipping.

Update to my less than flattering review. Zach called me was very pleasant and he assured me these issues were addressed. They will make it right. I have never before had such a bad experience and I don’t expect I will again. Thanks for listening to the customers even when it’s...
