Delicias Centro Americanas — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Saw this place on the way to Daytona Lagoon and right away I was interested! Came on here and found the website... Central American food! I was so surprised as it's a rarity in Florida for sure. Food priced very well. Went in on our way back home to Groveland (30mins west from Orlando). Ordered Pupusas mixtas and cheese. Freshly made, and so delicious! Reminded me of my salvadorean family's cooking!! Authentic flavors 100%!! We had to get our food TO-GO because we had a 2 HR drive home and wanted to be on the road sooner than later... we waited not very long for it to be cooked. My kids devoured their Pupusas and so did I! (I actually burned the top of my mouth because it was nice and hot, but SOOO GOOD I didn't want to waste a minute more to eat! I don't regret it! I wish it was closer to home for me, but when in Daytona, I know where I'll be going to eat!

It is a small establishment, but very clean. Great service, and great customer care. I was actually speaking with one of the ladies for a little bit, and enjoyed the conversation. Hope their business flourishes, because I will be back! Even if I do have to drive 2hours there!

My friend and pool guy told me about this place today and he made it sound so good that I decided I would go. There was absolutely no parking so I had to wait a bit for someone to leave. It’s a small place and it was very crowded inside. By the smell in the air I could tell why! I waited about 20 minutes for my food. I decided carry out was probably a good idea as it was crammed with people. All I can say is thank you thank you thank you for the recommendation and I will go back again and again and again! I ordered a variety of things off the menu to try. Everything is made from scratch including their amazing amazing hot sauce! The plantain’s were done to perfection and the pork Al Pastor tacos made me dance around because it was that good!!! The ladies that work there are so nice and friendly and I felt very welcome! I hesitate to leave this review because I love this place so much and it’s only going to get busier as more people...

Hello! This restaurant might not be anywhere near my usual city but I’m currently here in Daytona and i wanted to get some food and ended up here. Let me be honest, the food is great, the employees are nice and the place is clean. But I had some issues, for starters the place is very small. Having to shuffle sideways type of small, too many tables for such a small area but I guess that’s allowable. Second, the wait time is ridiculously long. I ordered two waters and two smoothies(yes i am with family), you’d think it would take maybe 5 minutes or so considering the fact there was only two other smaller groups of people. No, it took over 5 minutes for the water and nearing 10 more for the smoothies. And don’t get me started on the food wait time. But to finish off, there is a nice menu and the fries are really good.
