Stoney Farms Crab Shop — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Picked up from here for the first time (on Jan 16th) in the year and a half I have been independently contracted (meaning I am my own boss) through UberEats. when arriving I was met with Disrespect, Rudeness and Unprofessionalism. I did not receive the order until 5:30 5:40 pm and had to stop and get gas before making the delivery. After picking up the order I contacted Ubersupport informed them of the interaction I had with an employee within the restuarant. Informed them that the employee stated that the they got order at 5:18 yet that is not when I received the order on my end. Ubersupport apologized for the nature in which I was poorly greeted. notated the account for the restuarant division stated the restuarant is in violation of uber policies for the way they conducted themselves which is why there will be a notation on the account. Then informed me there was likely a glitch in the system which is out of my realm of control since the trip details indicated the trip was only 15 minutes long from the time I received the order to pick up and dropped it off to the customer. I told them in the past when I have been treated in the manner I did tonight I have cancelled the order right there and walked out. To which Ubersupport agreed it was within my right since I am not obligated to pick up or deliver to anyone that does not conduct themselves professionally. Rude and unprofessional also rudely demanded a food bag. I am not obligated to carry a food bag. Even went as far as suggesting I don't receive "tips" because of it. Their customer service has NOT CHANGED! They even attempted to get me banned after I wrote a review on their Facebook page like Ubereats suggested and then rated me poorly due to not having a food bag which I thought was not only hilarious but petty and pathetic on their part! Which is why I contacted Uber support again. They already violated Ubereats policies to begin with by conducting themselves in the manner they did. For a customer based business BEING ABSOLUTELY PROFESSIONAL IS IMPERATIVE! I WAS PROFESSIONAL WHEN I IGNORED THE IGNORANCRE I WAS FACED WITH THAT DAY AND CALLED UBER SUPPORT! DO NOT THINK I WILL CONTINUE TO IGNORE YOUR IGNORANCE IN THE FUTURE! IF THAT IS! This isn't my only job but you rely heavily on Ubereats to keep your customer base! That much was obvious by your lack of PROFESSIONALISM!! To date I have picked up 3 orders from here, they waited until the third order to rate me poorly for "not having a food bag." To which Ubersupport clearly stated I am again NOT OBLIGATED TO CARRY ONE!! And as far as my tips go. I am not hurting for tips either and the bag has NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW MUCH YOU ARE TIPPED AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH HOW YOU CONDUCT YOURSELF!! 😊. I have had plenty of tips that were 10...

I had extremely high hopes based on other reviews. I ordered the large shrimp and sausage as well as “large” cleaned crabs. The shrimp and sausage were great! The crabs not so much. First as I was eating I noticed a long hair but actually convince myself it was just some debris from the crabs. But I was confirmed of it being hair when I went back inside to inquire about the “large” crab which were definitely not large. As I’m speaking to the guy who handed me my order initially (his hair is short…bordering on buzz)…he’s explaining that the size is right and out from the kitchen comes the guy (to whom no one is speaking) his hair is long to his shoulders about and I’m like great but I didn’t say anything because he came out “guns” loaded justifying the crab size and speaking to me as though this was my first time eating crabs…I have had them any way you can imagine and grew up eating them by the bushel with my daddy who’s been crabbing since before I was born. The short haired guy was slightly condescending and insulting mentioning that he knows they’re not that big so they try to balance it with customer service and he said I also gave you an extra crab. The crazy thing is I displayed no anger I was calm I just had a question and they were both low key defensive and justifying. Told me next time call it in and the price is better because they can weigh it blah blah just sounded like BS… I can’t buy anything with customer service and after spending almost $100 including a tip that I shouldn’t have paid I was definitely ripped off…there were two more hairs in the crabs from that guys head as I maneuvered through the box. How disgusting 🤢 I started to take pictures but I just took the loss…very disappointing… don’t order crabs from here … there are much better options… these were of the poorest quality I’ve had and that’s not about the size…if you order anything else make sure dude’s hair from the kitchen...

Best Blue crabs in all Daytona, we drove 2 hours to get a half dozen Maryland style large blues and they did not dissapoint in anyway....no sauce needed here perfectly cooked and seasoned you do not need to drown it in butter for taste...wr also hot a small pot..corn 10 out of 10...sausage could be a meal on its own, taters were taters nothing to complain about...but my favorite was the perfectly cook hard boiled egg with the seasoning...wow mind blowing...conck fritters, concked it out the park perfectly size and amout of batter to fish...made you feel like you were up north in one of the mom and pops small town seafood stores...now it is no eye turner if you gonna eat there but it is not meant to be, it is meant to be that place in town that you know when you go there you are getting food that the owner would only give his own kids, nostalgia of what life use to be like before the democrats ruined the world, and good old fashion stories from the owner who has three generations working in the store.. overall great place 10 out of 10 with a bonus point for making me feel like a...
