J&B Kingston Grill — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

This is our go-to food place when we want some Jamaican food. Good lord where to we begin. This place has been around for a few years now but is currently owned by someone new. The change in management brought a nice atmosphere and the food is so delicious. You can ask for anything they have and you will be guaranteed to love it. They offer a large variety of dishes including Jerk Chicken, Stewed Chicken, Oxtails (so good), goat, curried meats, Rice and Peas, Fried Chicken, patties and so much more! We are usually get an affordable lunch to go. Even their small sizes are so filling and tasty. Plenty of spices and flavors to be enjoyed. The lady that serves us (might be one of the owners), she is always super sweet and generous. We love this little spot and definitely recommend it to the community. This particular Jamaican restaurant has multiple black americans supporters that they continue to treat like crap. All the Jamaican restaurants that were here in the early 2000s, nice owners and great customer service. My son went in to get me a large meal, old light skin lady asked him who was the plate for, he said himself! SHE SAID EVERYONE HAS TO GET RICE! He had to tell her its for his mom who can't eat rice!! Visited our son and ate here twice. Food was so good that we can't stop thinking about it. Owner, Andre and his wife were extremely friendly as was Camilla who took and filled our order. We had the oxtail which was fall-off the bone fantastic and the curry chicken that was equally good! We sampled some awesome spicy fruit salad and chicken soup that was out of this world. As an added treat Andre's wife let us try cow foot stew and if you have never tried this, you must! We are definitely coming back when we are in Daytona Beach. Love, Love, love...
