I went into the store to purchase a small order but over the years I have spenthousands of dollars here. I will no longer and this is why. I stood in line at least ten minutes when I saw what I thought was an available cash register I approached it. The light was on but as I approached the woman behind the counter picked up a phone and began talking to someone. She looks at me and said, "You will have to wait." After a few minutes waiting I looked for another open register. I saw one and approached it. When I was at the counter the woman behind the counter asked if I came from the line. I attempted to explained what occured but she would have none of it. She kept repeating "Did you come from that line?" and would not ring up my order but kept repeating the same question. I had enough and said, "You keep it" and I stepped away. As I was walking away she snidely said ,"That's okay." I turned and looked back and she was smiling. This was at 3:40 pm on 08/05/2023. I was wearin blue shorts a blue shirt and a red white and blue cap with white stars. I leave these details so if management does care about customer service they can review their employees actions. I realize these old women do not make much so they take it out on the customers but they chose that job and the low pay so they should not take it out on the customers. I cannot wait until AI replaces these "customer service representatives" and we the customers are no longer abused by low wage people taking their life's rrustrations out on customers. Read moreI like coming to this store because they offer very competitive pricing as well as payment options that most stores don’t have. With that being said the last time two times I’ve visited the store i was in the firearms section (first time looking at rifle scopes and the second time with my dad looking for rifles) and both times the same guy along with a different employee on both occasions was back there and couldn’t be bothered to ask if we wanted to look at anything let alone even acknowledging that we were even at the counter. Both times it seemed that their conversation was more important than a potentially $600+ sale. The first time after standing there for about 5 minutes i flagged the gentleman down and asked to look at the scopes and he couldn’t tell me anything helpful about them and seemed annoyed that i was making him work. I still bought the scope anyways and it works great. The second time when i was with my father we were looking at some rifles for him and again their conversation was more important then helping a return customer. We stood there for about 10 minutes then left and went to bass pro where my father purchased his new rifle instead. Love this store but the staff needs to work on customer service. Read moreJudging by the other recent reviews maybe I went to this location on an off day, but my experience was not great. I ordered online for curbside pickup and when I arrived there were no designated spots and the website would not let me check in that I was there. When I called into the store all’s the help I got was that the spots are “on the right side of the parking lot.” Not a huge deal so I went inside wearing my mask and behind the counter was only one employee working hard to answer phones and help the customers in front of me. After a few minutes more employees walked behind the counter but ignored me and the other customers in line. They all took out their phones and started having social hour. Finally another employee started helping other customers and myself and was very nice. However, when asking her who I assume was the manager manager for assistance she was ignored a few times before getting help and being able to complete my order. Not to mention only one employee was wearing a mask and no one was social distancing that I saw.
