[ ] My visit today was terrible. I placed my order Within the app. For a curbside pickup... I didn’t want to go inside due to increasing covid cases in MI and being pregnant, I have to be extra careful. My order was supposed to be delivered to my car at 2:45. I sat and waited.... finally growing impatient as super hungry, I went inside at 3:05 to find my order was on the pick up shelf.... and likely sitting there for 15 minutes. I checked my order to find that I was missing Chipotle Mayo AGAIN! Behind the counter was crowded with workers and a lady who appeared to be the manager looked me in my eyes as I stood there saying “excuse me” and walked away. She washed her hands, put in gloves and kept her back to me. Feeling frustrated I asked a delivery guy packing his bag and he directed me to the person to speak with. I received the chipotle Mayo but I was very disappointed in the way I was ignored at the counter when multiple employees saw me there, bag and drinks in hand. There was no cashier at the other counter and there were now 3 customers waiting there. The lady I presumed to be the manager asked an employee to yell to the crew in the back that a cashier was needed up front. So it does seem that she was aware of what was going on and intentionally ignored me. I wanted to yell and give them a hard time, because I was angry, but That would not have been appropriate. I got to my car only to find that there was in fact an abundance of chipotle Mayo ON both of MY SANDWICHES (I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THEM ON THE SIDE) this made my bread soggy As it had already sat for a long time!! I am pregnant and as anyone can imagine right now I take my food very seriously and can be quite particular— so this was completely unacceptable! I ordered two whole sandwiches and both were soggy! That’s 4 halves of sogginess! I wanted to save the others for later—- but this plan was ruined as I don’t want soggy bread!!! Now I just wanna cry. They're slow - even when the restaurant is empty it takes them 15-20m to prepare an egg on brioche
They mess up basically EVERY single order you make. Its either something minor like a forgotten french baguette, or something much more major like missing scones or pastries entirely. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Break the seal and look inside the bag - I guarantee you they missed or messed up something
They basically don't want you to order - constantly their egg and cheese on brioche is listed as "out of stock" online because brioche buns are listed as an "unavailable ingredient" - yet when you call - after waiting through 3 minutes of automated BULLS*IT to get to an associate - they say they have plenty in stock and its just an error on the website, which they then correct.....except this has happened FOUR times in two weeks. Sorry, that's not a mistake - that's store associates blatantly attempting to turn away customers.
The service/friendliness is basically just awful in this store. Outside of the 1 lady who cuts the bagels/works the main register, everyone in there is quiet, antisocial, has a bad attitude, acts like they wish they were anywhere else besides there serving you.
Beverages are made absolutely horribly at this store. Seriously, don't even bother, make it yourself or order something from Starbucks across the street.
This is a pathetic, amateur establishment from the top down. Go to any other Panera, they can't be worse...
Read moreUsually when I come in I have a good experience. But not today, I had a not so good experience with this same person the last time I came in. The cashier name was Athraa and she was very rude. When I came in she continue to stock the pastry bar until she was finisher before she took my order. I tried to give her my phone number so I can get my rewards and she told me the system is not going to take it, I guess since I ordered the baker's dozen. So I told her it usually does so too try it anyway. Only then was I able to imput my phone number. Wheen she filled my order she just threw my bagels around. She gave me the box, I asked for butter and knives she gave me 4 butters and 1 knife in a pastry bag. I also told her I need a big bag to carry my items. I told her I ordered 13 bagels so I need more than 4 butters and 1 knife and I also needed a big bag. She then turned around as if I was bothering her and placed more butter and 5 knives in another pastry bag. I had to tell her again I need a big bag. She gave me a big bag and did not even try to open it or try to place my items in the bag. She barely wanted to give me napkins which she only gave to me after I had to ask for a big bag three times. This lady was very rude, unpleasant, and unprofessional. There are plenty employers hiring and if she doesn't want to work with the public or if she is unhappy with servicing Paneras customers then she needs to work where she doesn't have contact with...
