Today, my daughter and I visited Cool Beans Coffee & Bagels, and our entire experience was superb! I was there with my #1Mother2Another group for our #sipsunday gathering, which was a total of about 12 ladies, for coffee and fellowship. Having a large group of customers arrive all at once to order food and drinks could overwhelm even the most seasoned establishments. However, Cool Beans was up to the challenge! The owner Shawn, and his wonderful team, was so patient, knowledgeable, and customer service driven. All of our questions were answered, the food arrived quickly, as well as the drinks, and everyone was impressed with how delicious everything tasted. I had the Pastrami Mami sandwich on an everything bagel, and my goodness was it yummy! For my drink I had the strawberry matcha with strawberry cold foam, and I really enjoyed it. My daughter had a turkey and mozzarella croissant with a strawberry acai refresher made with lemonade, and she said her drink tasted from Cool Beans tasted better than the one she has at Starbucks! I will absolutely be coming back to try several more sandwiches and drinks, and I highly recommend that you give them a try as well. Your taste buds...

I recently visited this shop for the first time and had a mixed experience. Upon entering the empty shop, I was immediately asked for my order before reaching the counter, which felt rushed and didn’t allow me to browse the menu. However, after I asked to look at the menu and mentioned it was my first visit, the staff waited patiently while I decided, which I appreciated.

As a coffee enthusiast, I always order a plain latte to assess the coffee’s quality. I got a plain latte, and my husband chose a vanilla latte. The service was quick—our lattes were started before we finished ordering and were ready before we sat down, which was impressive. However, the lattes themselves were just decent, not remarkable enough to justify the $6 price. More concerning, the coffee was scalding hot, making it undrinkable for 15-20 minutes. It seems the milk was steamed far beyond the ideal temperature.

The shop has potential, but I recommend customer service training to ensure a consistently welcoming experience from the start and proper milk-steaming techniques to improve latte quality. For now, the quality doesn’t fully match the cost. I will be back...
