My wife and I were looking for something different, and new to eat for dinner. We were thinking Japanese, and so we decided to come here. Although they weren’t totally a Japanese restaurant, and then offer some of the dishes that we were interested in, that was no for theirs. It was ours for not thoroughly going over their menu. That said surprisingly, we more than enjoy the food. Everything that we order was outstanding! The service was outstanding! When we were there, you had people of all races and coaches there, and everyone felt comfortable and we’re all treated equally. Although it’s a small restaurant, it had a very positive atmosphere, and the owners and all employees Were polite and just overall outstanding people. And at a time where food prices have skyrocketed, and (Customer Service) has all but gone out the window into a wastebasket, we were more than pleasantly surprised by a Restaurant, who clearly cares about not just serving people a great meal, but also wanting them to have a great experience, as well! I would highly recommend this restaurant, anytime, and every day of the week. We will be returning soon, and look forward to becoming regular patrons of this establishment. Great job! Keep up the good work! Also, it’s very...
Read moreWe had our two of our young grandchildren (9 and 7) with us recently on a trip to Greenfield Village. We asked them what they wanted to eat for dinner and they said something Asian. In looking for a local Asian restaurant I came across Koja Sushi. We were the only ones eating in during the time we were dining. Many customers came in to pick up take-out. We sampled a lot of things on the menu and the children loved them. They especially liked the vegetarian noodles with soba broth and tofu. We all enjoyed the shrimp and vegetable tempura. My husband absolutely loved the chicken teriyaki. I enjoyed two of the "not raw" sushi rolls. No bar service but the tea was perfect with the meal. Our service was excellent. I'm sorry I didn't get the chef owner's first name but he took very good care of us. The restaurant was very clean. I rated it only a 3 on atmosphere because the dining room is well lit and more utilitarian. If you're looking for romantic place to dine with candlelight, you might do what so many others did...get take-out. But if you want a large menu with delicious choices, dine in and try many dishes! Very reasonable prices also. Whenever I am in that area, I would definitely dine...

Update: it's Mother's day 2023 (4/14/2023) They have plenty of open tables and servers, if you're thinking of taking your mother out today this quaint place is the perfect place to go without the stress of crowds.
We had a great first experience here, the ambiance of the restaurant was amplified by the authentic music playing overhead, loud enough to hear but not so loud that it prevented conversation. The sushi rolls are fresh, I'm a bit picky when it comes to sushi and this was 9.5/10 based on my experience. I love how they served the sushi in a boat, we had 6 rolls and it cost a little above $50 which isn't bad considering I usually pay around $80-$100, it only took about 15 minutes to get our order.
It was a Monday afternoon so it wasn't very busy there was one table with three people finishing up when we arrived and another two people who came in while we were dining. My favorite roll was the MSU roll my son liked the sunny California roll which had an abundance of orange caviar on top.
All in all this will be my new go to sushi restaurant it's in the heart of East...
