I love pizza kitchen but yesterday when I ordered an extra large specialty pizza (x large) the pizza arrived with only chicken, cheese and bq sauce. It was missing the onions and yellow peppers and the chicken was not even grilled and tasted like nothing. I just thought maybe it was because it was a Friday night and they were just busy but when I called back to say that my pizza was missing stuff on it, they told me that "it only comes with chicken, cheese & sauce unless I ask for more". I then told the person that, " That is NOT what it states on the menu". He agreed to send me a new pizza but said I would have to give back the old one; I said that was fine. Then they told me that it would take 55 more minutes and they did not seen thrilled when I agreed to that as well. Then when I got off the phone, they immediately called me bad and said tried to convince me that the reason my BQ chicken specialty pizza didn't have the other stuff on it (only chicken, cheese & sauce) was because I had ordered an extra large and only the large has everything on it. I tried telling them that is NOT what their online menu says but I didn't feel like getting into it anymore because I was just too hungry at this point. I just told them they should change what it says on their online menu then and they apologized and told me that they will apply a discount to my next future order. I was surprised by all of this because I LOVE pizza kitchen and they have awesome tasting food and nice workers on all my previous orders...
Read moreMy family and I have been customers for well over a year even though those who answer the phone never know the answers to customer questions, they are constantly raising their prices, and they’re kind of an overall rude staff... but after today we’ll be ordering from the hundreds of other delicious pizza joints in Dearborn. They delivered a half order of the wings we ordered/paid for and had the nerve to just say ‘sorry, next time we’ll fix it’ and then when I was transferred over to the manager he claimed that the flyer says 10 not 12... no, it says 12 & we were sent half of that so how about you don’t argue with the customer and fix the issue at hand. How about you offer a refund or a new delivery of wings. How about you don’t allow yourself to lose great customers and just do your job and make them happy. No, instead please deny your wrong doings and claim it’s because the flyer said something else???? So ridiculous. How embarrassing for them to act that way. I’m not surprised there are SO many...
Read moreI'm done with Pizza Kitchen. It breaks my heart that this is the closest place to my house, I've been to Pizza Kitchen over 5 times, and they've gotten my order right, once. I couldn't have a simpler order, honestly.
I order the same thing every time I go there which is a large pizza and boneless wings. I literally pay a different price every single time. It could range from 12.00 to 15.00, which I paid today.
They do NOT consider custom orders. If you ask for something "special" done to your food, they will acknowledge it on the phone, and completely throw it out the window. They are only capable of handling extremely basic, orders, and even that is putting their employees into some really high water.
Good luck calling the place back to tell them that they messed something up. They might just offer to have their delivery guy send you over...
