Today, I went to this Subway and purchased to 6inch subs, I got more bread than meat, it was a thin layer like butter spread on the sandwich, this is not the first time, I have tried to overlook this cheap man and patronized where I lived but I cannot no longer go to this subway.
I feel as if I got cheated, I spoke with the owner of this subway as he was leaving the store for the day, he stated to me that Subway Corporation tells him how much to put on each sandwich, how do they know how much meat his is putting on a sandwich the bottom line is he trying to make more money with giving less product so he does not have to buy more meat. I explain to him the other subway do not skip on the meat not like him, he tried his best to convince me that its the subway corporation tell him what to do he wanted to show me some report, but he never went to get it lol, but I know he was just trying to fault blame somewhere else, but you are telling your staff they are putting too much meat on the subs, and you are standing over them watching them as they prepare the sandwich,really. I explain to him it all about making your customers happy so they can come back, and putting less product on the sandwich is not making your customers not happy. I also told him two people just left out of here stating they will never come back and this is not the first time because of how their sandwich were made. They blame the delivery drivers, even when you have the driver on the line confirming the issue. They’ll say things like, "Oh, we didn’t have the items to make the sandwich," but when you ask for a refund, they just don’t do it. Through the Subway app, there’s no way to request a refund, so they essentially stole my money.
If you order through apps like Grubhub or DoorDash, at least you can request a refund and get your money back if something goes wrong. But with this Subway location, the owner seems more concerned with saving a few bucks than providing decent customer service. It’s cheap, stingy, and completely unprofessional.
To make matters worse, I even wrote directly to Subway, and they never gave me back my over $50. It’s incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. Subway really needs to do better and start paying attention to who is representing their brand. It’s no wonder they’re losing money when they allow locations like this to operate so poorly.
