I dread having to write this review but it had to be done. My review on the doner shawarma food truck on telegraph that was closed upon the opening of the store front is great 5 stars. I was so excited every time i passed by while this place was beimg prepped to be opened. This.... I'm pushing it with two stars. Im so disappointedand can see alot of angry former food truck customers leaving this place behind. Please bring back the food truck. Today... I ended up having chunks of burnt red meat in my chicken doner. I had a huge amount of spice in it as well. I never asked for spice. I literally could not tolerate the spice level of it and only finished a quarter of the doner. I have never felt there was spice at all when I was getting the same thing from the food truck. And I've never had other peoples food in my doner at the food truck either. I was given a 20 minute wait time for the food to be ready. Husband was inside the entire time waiting for it and they handed it to him almost 10 minutes late. What we received... for some reason was also cold. The doners were both cold (even when wrapped in foil and boxed) and the fried were cold. The fries also literally were just crumbs from the bottom of the fry bag. Not one French fry was 1 inch in length. If this downgrade does not change for the better...soon... I will have to stop eating one of my favorite foods that I was so excited about eating in America. Please bring back the food truck, and who ever it was that worked the food truck, or do better. Please 🙏. Also, please have the lady who takes the phone calls atleast put customers on hold before she has an entire conversation with kitchen staff when she answers calls. The place is clean and there a nice theme going. I will give them that. It is also important to note that during the time of my order... there was only 1 other to go order and 1...

I tried the chicken Döner sandwich it was so delicious so fresh everything was just perfect at it. I placed a carry out anyways when I get home I tried it and again it was just so good so I went back a few days later to get another sandwich the same one and it was so soggy so much sauce was on it. It was like very messy to eat. The bread had disintegrated into the sauce and my husband that was his actual first time trying it. He said it was the worst sandwich he’s had And we just threw it out. We couldn’t even eat it and my husband said then I should stop bragging about this place To people because it Was terrible. But my friend wanted to try the sandwich so I went again for the third time So I called and place the order for the chicken Döner sandwich For my friend and I to share this time, I made sure to ask for the sauces to be on the side so that it wouldn’t be soggy like the second time I go to pick up my order. It wasn’t ready yet. I waited for about 10 minutes. The cashier handed me my order, and I asked if the sauces we’re in the package and she assured me that they were both in the package with the sandwich so I take the sandwich to my friends place of business we open the sandwich. There’s no sauces. There’s no sauce on it. There’s no sauces anywhere in the packaging and the chicken was so dry. I was in disbelief because this was again right when they opened I don’t understand why the chicken would be so dry at this time of the day. So it’s apparent to me the food is not fresh at all .

So I gave it the third try and I’m completely done with it. I’m over it. It’s too bad too because I really thought this was gonna be a great place that just opened close to our house with fresh food finally ,only to be...

Where do I even begin? This place deserves all the stars and more!

Our culinary journey led us to The Doner Shawarma, and it was nothing short of spectacular. We decided to try the Chicken Döner and the Döner Bowl with Fries, and boy, did we make the right choice!

First things first, let's talk about that Chicken Döner. It's not just any chicken; it's 100% halal chicken that's been grilled to perfection. The combination of tender chicken, crisp lettuce, tangy pickled red cabbage, flavorful onions, and juicy tomatoes was like a symphony of taste in every bite. And those two signature sauces? They're like a secret recipe from flavor heaven – absolutely divine!

Now, onto the Döner Bowl with Fries. It's essentially a flavor-packed party in a bowl. The same succulent 100% halal chicken, fresh veggies that added the perfect crunch, and those incredible signature sauces that elevate every bite. And let's not forget the fries – crispy, golden, and downright addictive!

But here's the kicker that truly sets The Doner Shawarma apart – their exceptional service. When they realized they were out of beef and called us to offer a chicken substitution, I was floored by their dedication to customer satisfaction. That's going above and beyond!

The Doner Shawarma is not just a place to eat; it's an experience. The outstanding service combined with the mouthwatering, 100% halal offerings make this spot an absolute gem. If you're in search of amazing food and a dining experience that exceeds expectations, look no further than The Doner Shawarma. It's a five-star delight that you won't...

I discovered this new Turkish restaurant in Dearborn Heights while driving back home and stopped by with my wife to check it out. Let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! I chose the Doner Shawarma and my wife chose the wrap sandwich, and both did not disappoint. From the very first bite, the flavor explodes in your mouth—a blend of perfectly seasoned, tender meat wrapped and some magical sauce that is soaking all the vegetables that fill these sandwiches. It's the kind of flavor that instantly leaves you eager for the next bite and makes it very difficult to eat it slowly. What makes this sandwich truly exceptional is how every bite feels just as amazing as the first, right until the very end. It’s a rare experience the flavor captivates you all the way through. By the time I finished, I was torn between satisfaction and longing—full and content, yet almost sad that the journey had come to an end. That flavor lingered in my mind, and I know I will return to try another item from the menu soon. Other local restaurants should be concerned and should up their game—the Doner Shawarma is a definite threat to all of the shawarma sandwiches and plates sold in Dearborn or Dearborn heights. If you're a fan of Turkish cuisine or not, do yourself a favor and try this place. You will be hooked.
