UH MAYY ZING. SO FRESH, so delicious. Listen...I love lettuce, tomato and cheese when I'm at your run-of-the-mill restaurants, as much as other reviewers...but you need to forget about what (most of) you THINK you know about "Mexican food". Although a very simple menu - every ingredient is packed with FLAVOR. I cannot say that about any other Mexican restaurants around here. The steak is phenomenal, the chicken is delicious. We had the cheese quesadillas...it's not shredded cheese...think greek "OPA" (saganaki?) type cheese, a thick slice that's browned on a griddle (melty on the inside) - SO DELICIOUS. Don't be shy to use the lime, it takes things to a new level. We also had the Burritos, the beans and rice with the steak are so yummy, add the salsa and the pico di gaillo to it, and lime...and it's THE BEST burrito I have ever had. Even without adding anything, it's the better than anything you can get anywhere in Michigan. My husband doesn't usually like salsa...he loves their salsa...eats their chips and salsa AND LOVES IT...and he hates tomatoes...he even ate their pico di gaillo! I hate cilantro...but I loved it in their pico di gaillo! This will be our new regular for Mexican food. UPDATE: Went back again today - did not disappoint. PHENOMENAL food. Everything is LOADED with meat or chicken - LARGE amounts...cooked to perfection, Steak is VERY tender, good quality chicken and meat. Nothing is too salty, or overly seasoned...just perfection. tried the tacos today - the el pastor and the...
Read moreI only give it to stars because they had tamarindo Jarritos, And the little guy that took my order was a really good and polite young man. My tortillas on my tacos were stale, the meat was horrible. I asked for hot sauce the guy told me he gave me high and mild, they will taste the same and very weak. The same guy asked was very rude and condescending. And I saw that they had these Asada fries, so I ordered those, Actually that was pretty good. But the picture shows it comes with a whole jalapeño in half and grilled. The guy gave me a problem when I asked him about my jalapeño not being in the box. He acted confused at what I was asking and I pointed at the picture about how it shows what it comes with and he just blows me off and says that’s not really what you get. First off you shouldn’t be showing pictures of stuff that you’re not going to be giving with what you’re selling. But you don’t have to be rude about it. It’s a picture of what I’m supposed to receive. The onions were fresh in my tacos but the cilantro was a little wilted. No not a good place to go. If you want really good tacos I suggest going to Supermercado el Jalisco in Livonia. Do yourself the favor and drive...
Read moreOrdered from here as it’s my husband’s favorite place to eat, and they completely messed up our order. Then refused to remake items and gave me the runaround to go online and find some phone number to receive a refund. Very poor customer service. If you order from here you better hope it’s correct and nothing is forgotten. Otherwise you’ll be screwed!
Update: I did in fact receive a refund for the items messed up after having to contact customer support through DoorDash because the store itself could do nothing for me. When the mistake happened I immediately contacted the store and said I would even drive back up to get the correct items if they could just remake them and I was told they don’t do that and to find the DoorDash phone number to receive a refund. So I was not only inconvenienced with not being able to handle this directly with the store but then had to figure out alternative dinner for my children because the items messed up just couldn’t be remade? Hopefully there will be a better solution to issues like these in the very...
