First let's start with the tiny parking lot. It is very difficult to find a spot and when you do, beware someone may park behind you causing you to be blocked in. Besides the parking lot being entirely too small. The service my family received was lacking to say the least. Our waitress had an attitude towards us as we ordered. Before recieveing our meal I decided i wanted an extra entree. Midway through our meal we needed a refill on bread but our waitress was sitting appearing to be on break. We asked another server to assist, while the other server was at the table we requested an extra salad. The bread came swiftly but the salad took much longer. As we were ready to leave the salad finally arrived. I asked for a box for the salad and the rest of our leftovers. Once we received the bill I was unaware the servers don't take payment at the table I waited and waited for them to return, until someone else who dined there went to the tall counter to pay their bill. My server took my payment and thanked me for my tip as I tipped 20%. Upon reviewing my receipt I was charged for items (more than one) that we did not order nor recieve. I am not sure if this was an error or if this was from the assumption that she was not going to recieve a tip from our table. Either way, I will not be returning to dine here. The food was mediocre, the service was not great and I feel like discrimination took place the day we dined. Also while trying to leave someone had parked behind me in the non parking spot which blocked me into my...

I visit my family in Dearborn at least 6 times per year. I enjoy trying Lebanese restaurants.

On 01/27/2024, I visited Alamir Restaurant at the Dearborn Heights Location along with my 4 cousins.

The restaurant was well lit, clean and spacious. It was nicely decorated and the noise was acceptable.

We were welcomed and seated immediately. Then our waitress, SAJA, approached and greeted us with her hospitable and friendly attitude.

After my cousins ordered their dishes, it was my turn. But I was still undecided.

Ms. Saja suggested the stuffed lamb with confidence. Immediately I was convinced.

Even though we ordered 2x grilled Lamb Chops, grilled Kafta, Chicken Shawarma and stuffed Lamb, the dishes arrived quickly.

The restaurant had only fountain soda. I wanted can soda. Saja went on and beyond to make her customers happy.

Saja went to a store nearby and bought me a soda can. That was a First Class Customer Service. May Allah reward her for her thoughtfulness and kindness.

All dishes were large and had abundant amounts of food. My cousins enjoyed their choices.

My Stuffed lamb dish can feed at least 2 persons. The meat was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

The manager was friendly, hospitable and professional. She ensured that our dishes were prepared to our liking.

I highly recommend the Dearbon Heights location for delicious, authentic Lebanese cuisine served by the First Class Customer Service...

So using Ramadan as an excuse for poor service and quality is bad! What did the management do when you told them about my review? I'm interested!

The original Al-Ameer restaurant on Warren..I gave them a 1 star. So this place on Ford Rd is 2 stars better. I've been to this restaurant about 10 times in the last few years... The Server was not very attentive...But very nice! Food was served fast. Salad and bread was excellent as usual. The chicken breast garlic/lemon sauce full order, white meat is what I ordered. The chicken came out hot...however the sauce as you can see from my photo came out slightly warm. Rice was not hot! Just warm...Got cold fast!

After 10 mins I flagged down the waiter and told him. He took my food, told the manager.

A few mins later, another manager came out and served me the exact same dish...my original...So now the chicken is kind of warm and the sauce was slightly warm.

Disappointing!!!!

I took most of it home and just reheated it in the oven and it was not good. Bland!!!!

I spent 40 dollars there because I also ordered 2 sandwiches to go. This time I probably won't be back. There are much better places that will be more attentive to my concerns. I was told to complain....I don't want free food...Just good quality food.

I leave reviews all over town as you can see!

Can't wait for the Canton...

Our 1st time here and the food was delicious. We are from the Eastside and happened to be out here for a work thing and decided to try Al Ameer. To begin the waitress Hanadi was wonderful and attentive. She made sure to have our waters full and the warm bread basket continued to be full and fresh with plenty of the red sauce which I have never tasted and was wonderful. I ordered the chicken combo. It was a huge meal, I had plenty to take home for another meal later. I enjoyed all of the chicken on the plate. The rice was over cooked. The garlic sauce was literally some of the smoothest and best I have ever had. My husband had the kabob and it was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor. He had fries as a side and it was enough for a family of 4. They were cooked well and good. I was disappointed they were out of lemon rice soup, but the crushed lentil was good. The restaurant appeared clean. The bathrooms on the one hand were not as welcoming and clean. There seemed to be some kind of plumbing issue they were trying to fix. But overall we would return.
