West Village Bakery — Restaurant in Dearborn

If I could give 0 stars I would! Terribly rude staff, the owner who runs the front is so unprofessional it boggles my mind how he’s in business. I made a walk in order and after waiting nearly 20min a man and his wife came in behind me and ordered the rest of the mini pizzas. I informed the owner as he was boxing the rest of the mini pizzas up for the guy, that 3 of them were for me. He then told me that sorry he’s out and that the man preordered. Which is completely a lie as I heard him ask his wife what she wanted when they walked in. 100% dissatisfied with the way he handled my situation as a local customer when I expressed that I had already paid for my order. He then proceeded to tell me he would give me my money back thinking that would settle the issue. The issue wasn’t about money, it’s about customer service and the way you treat people. I will never step foot in that store...

Phenomenal food and prices. It's a bakery sure, but it tops most thin crust pizza places I've been to, including Lombardi's (the first pizzeria in America) of New York City. My favorites are "zaatar with cheese" and "meat and cheese". The zaatar is a spice rub with thyme, sesame seeds, olive oil and maybe some other secrets. Another great option is the spinach pie. The owner is nice and has often given me samples of various things to try. The only downside is no place to sit, it's take out only. Worse customer service ever, they never answer the phone, very rude when u walk in a bunch of old ppl who have no manners. I’ve had bad experiences with them since a year or two bc the cheese on my manoosha was sour!!!!!! Literally expired and smelled.
