Ten Eyck Park — Attraction in Dearborn

It has a tennis court (technically two, but one no longer has a net and is used for hockey or soccer and such), a couple of baseball field that are almost always utilized by little leagues and ambitious parents, a basketball court, a playground, and a walkway surrounding the space. It's a small park, but decent, surrounded by homes. The only reason I give it a 3 star is because when it rains, there are banks of water in random areas that mosquitos wait to feast on an unsuspecting person. It's just standing water in the playground where little kids run through. I don't think it's healthy for kids especially since diseases can be spread that way. I also gave it a 3 because there are baseball games EVERY SINGLE DAY. It takes away from the sanctity of a place when the noise level is always at a high. This is totally a preference thing. A great place for kids to enjoy themselves. Clean park. I gave it 3 stars bc I am concerned for the children that play and dogs are with their owners. There should be a fence to block the playground from the track around it. To keep kids safe from cars and dogs. Good neighborhood park. My kids love to ride their bike here and play with other well behaved (for the most part) children.
