Long John Silvers is not very tasty. In January 2018 the health department closed this restaurant down for a few days. It is dirty, and I can't tell the difference between the chicken and the fish. I had to be very careful to avoid stepping on a hypodermic needle in the parking lot. With a little luck Long John Silvers will close. On a hot day the smell of the fried food cooking makes me nauseous. It would be pretty cool if it went out of business and then some good Mexican restaurant that serves beer opened in it's place. I every so often forget about the bad food at Long John's and eat there. I always regret it. I go maybe once every year or two. Last time I was there the hush puppies gave me a case of the trots. The only way this restaurant could redeem it's self would be to hire a big dude named "Long John Silvers" and have some kind of dirty kitchen accident where he lost a hand and replace the lost hand with a hook. When I rarely do eat there I take a bunch of plastic forks and napkins to put in my collection that I am saving for the apocalypse. The rotten grease pit in the back parking lot is a stinky festering fire hazard. If someone could stand to eat there more than once or twice a week, I bet their life expectancy would be drastically reduced. The employees have always been polite to me, but aside from cleaning up the place, there's nothing they can do about the food. The corporation tells them what to put on the menu. I think the first time I ever had a meal at this location was in 1984. If I remember correctly the chicken and fish pieces were bigger then, but of course I was also in the 7th grade and my hands were smaller so maybe the chicken and fish pieces just looked bigger then. It's hard to say without a time machine. You suck Long...

They agreed but when I got In the car the bag only had a couple pieces of chicken from my whole entire order and they locked the doors soon as we walked out as if they knew they was being bogus and didn't...

Plus the young man who waited on us was very pleasant. In Springfield, their stores are always dirty and it takes forever to get our food. Thanks Decatur...
