Lu Lu's Pizza — Restaurant in Decatur

When placing our order, the waitress didn’t write anything down there was two of us couples and our tickets were supposed to be separate. They messed up the other couples pizza. It was supposed to have been sausage and mushrooms, and she had pepperoni and mushrooms..so they remade it. We had ordered a five topping, and it was supposed to be pepperoni, sausage, onion, green olive in Peppercinis. with mixed sauce and well done they had to come back out and ask us if we were getting green peppers or green olives because she didn’t write it down the pizza come out with no sauce and soggy called the waitress over that didn’t write anything down and showed her. There was no sauce on the pizza. She just shook her head and didn’t say a word and turned around and walked off. So I asked the other one to come over . She said she would give us her discount on the pizza and our next ones would be free. And then she comes out and they had remade ours without telling us they were going to. .Then we went to pay and they had added our orders together, then couldn’t figure out how to do it any other way so they were just gonna divide it in half for both of us and I said how does that work they got a medium 2 topping we got a large 5 topping. , We have alway really like lulu”s but this time...

This was my go to place for pizza. Never again. I ordered a piggyback pizza, received pizza and all the toppings were in the middle of pizza and burnt. The edge of pizza probably one slice of pepperoni on it ( edge is the best part). Called back exactly 4 times and each time they would answer and hang up. My daughter call in her phone and was put on hold for a while ( mind you same last name, caller ID). So my daughter called in my grandsons phone, they answered phone while daughter phone still on hold. She ask was they able to talk because she’s still on hold. They remade pizza exact same way. I called the next morning to speak with manager. The person answered the phone HELLO (rudely). I asked to speak with manager he states he is the manager, I proceeded to tell him about my order the day before and his response was “well why didn’t you call yesterday” I told him I did call yesterday and he told me “I did not call he was there all day” from 7-5:30. My order was picked up at 6. I told him I understand why his employee was unprofessional because that the example he set . He tried to soften up after that, but that was the end of my conversation. We love the pizza from Lu Lu's, but they have lost our business at least from the Nelson Park restaurant. The service was Awful yesterday/last night, i called in a take out order and was told that it would be a 2hr wait. then when I arrived it pick up my order, 2hr and 10mins later, the woman that take the money/ orders for dine in was not very nice. I had to wait because the two salads i ordered were not ready, she had to make them, starting string of cussing and throwing things. The phone rang and the person on the other end was told that "it will be at least 1hr and 45min before I can even think about taking another order" then the phone was thrown on counter. I felt that i was inconveniencing her because i was asking for the food I paid for.
