McDonald's — Restaurant in Decatur

The management and employees hardly try and don't care. Every time I go my order is messed up. I've ordered a 10 piece and had two hamburger patties in the box. I walked back in and told the manager what happened while being polite and waited about 15 mins to get the nuggets. They were cold. I got a refund. I've worked at this same McDonald's years ago and this behavior is an embarrassment. McDonald's is such a wealthy company they should bring out of town management to make sure they run the restaurant correctly. It's not hard to make the food, I've done it. Rushes can back you up and I understand that completely but the mistakes they are making seem to be intentionally done on purpose. This McDonald's is becoming like Burger King in this area and I haven't been to burger king in over five years. I'm done with spending top dollar for fast food when the employees don't care. Frankly annoyed with little 24 hour Fast food restaurants in the area. Being the case, this would be a great opportunity for those that are to capitalize on extra business. Even if we’re talking just Friday and Saturday nights at a maximum. However, I find it completely unacceptable to advertise as a 24 hour Mcdonald’s and have one or two employess conveniently in the store and their job to be to say they’re “closed.” This may simply be an employee problem, but then you have a management issue to resolve and get the right people to work those evening shifts. I find it ridiculously lazy on whose shoulders that falls on, and needs to be fixed. Frankly, if I was the GM or Franchisee, I’d be furious to hear that when this store is supposed to be open it’s really closed at their convenience (mainly late evening/early morning). Before starting, I'd like to clarify that this has only been happening recently. I normally experience excellent and quick service here.

With that being said, the quality of service and food here has severely decreased within the last few weeks. I'm not sure if it's due to an influx of customers coming for the McRib, but regardless, I'm dissatisfied with the visits I've had recently. Today, the burgers I ordered were mismashed together and askew. I had ordered extra pickles, and found that it had an overwhelming amount... of 2. I had ordered my McRib plain, and it instead came with the usual condiments. It was also sloppily dumped into the bag; BBQ sauce coating the sides of many other food items.

In terms of the positive, the McNuggets were normal. No complaints there, aside from the BBQ sauce from the McRib on the sides. The fries were decent. A little less salt than normal,...
