Tacos N Beer ! My cousin and I stopped downtown Decatur to visit Ramon and try some of his authentic flavors at Tacos N Beer. Jason went with the steak burrito while I tried the Papa's Loco.... a bed of waffle fries covered with protein of choice (i also did the steak) and then drizzled with bbq sauce and.sour cream. A very unique dish..but tasty. Ramon also offers a number of "bowls" which are also an interesting twist. Yum ! The margaritas were also awesome. I tried their smokey sunset, which contains The quality of the tequila is top notch ! I am looking forward to return trips, as well as some of the exciting promotions that are planned (e.g. a Mexican themed street festival next May and a tequila tasting over the winter. Read moreWow. This restaurant has got to be the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Homemade is the theme. Birria, al pastor, all their tacos made with fresh marinade, meats and garnishes. Tortillas made several times daily in batches, agua dulce flavors vary (I had a delicious pineapple) because they make it so often, horchata, and even dessert is homemade (I had tres leche flan - such a unique and decadent spin! I’m not a photographer, but the pic is below!). I could go on, but because everything is so fresh, they will have some surprises for you when you go in and should try all of them yourself like I did....
